What you aren't considering is that people are not going through an entire pregnancy, body changes and all and aborting full term fetuses. If a pregnancy is ended in the 3rd trimester, it is because something is terribly wrong. The woman will likely have a surgery to save her life. Nobody I know is saying that a 9month fetus is a bunch of cells. Nobody is advocating for a full term abortion. 3rd trimester abortions are so rare and those are done when the mother's life is in danger or when the fetus is incompatible with life.

I'm currently pregnant and over halfway with only about a 15lb weight gain. Normally very fit, gym time, rugby but covid has shut down gyms in my country and honestly isolating just has naturally made food more delicious. I'm a calorie counter already, just not doing so well at the moment with the state of things.

Not excessively no, but it does kinda bum me out that a whole chunk (punny) of people use "well your weight starts at a 2" as a super negative thing. I didn't say that it wasn't, but it is only legal when the mothers health is at risk. I'm currently in my 3rd trimester and if there was a situation where it was me or the baby, its me all the way. I don't know where you get your info but having 3rd trimester abortions is almost unheard of, unless for the safety of the mother. The right loves to tout that as common place and it absolutely is not.

I am pretty sure I said "accident aside". Of course I speak respectfully to police (think a big chunk of them are cunts) but I do totally act respectfully. Well, in theory you can't really force a woman to have an abortion. If the guy signed his rights away under the law then the woman is still free to have the baby if she wants. Of course they have a choice when speaking about conception. I was addressing, that once a woman is pregnant she can decide if she will carry to term or terminate. Men don't have any say once the deed is done. Everybody loves to say "dont have sex" but we are humans and we are going to have sex. There are many ways to be responsible about it, but shit does happen and So do pregnancies.

Woman here. Why shouldn't it be a law everywhere. For now, I have a choice whether I wanna have a baby, men do not.
