| 2 | A sign that prohibits men from parking next to a gas station in Germany...It's probably totally different where you come from, but in Germany the police wouldn't show up for such petty stuff, let alone in less than half an hour. Most likely they would refuse to in general, as it is no official parking violation on private property anyway. Only the owner/manager could enforce it. The sign says "please" for a reason, it can be seen as a sort of advertisement of "safe" parking for women in sight of the shop. Strictly speaking it is of course sexist in some way. But outside a gas station where people usually only park to pay inside it's no big deal.
