| 3 | Relationship Shift with Parenthood + Raising a Strong SonCongratulations on your pregnancy! I have a son and I used to teach preschool. I'm a huge advocate for raising awareness of the different needs that boys have. I recommend anything by Michael Gurian, especially "The Wonder of Boys" and "A Fine Young Man." His work is based on neuro-biology and evolutionary psychology and aligns with traditional masculine ideals. Let your son play - especially rough and tumble play and weapons play. Let him make mistakes and do not try to "fix" everything for him… | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/02/19 07:20 AM |
| 1 | What part of redpillwomen is the 'hard to swallow' part? Here's what I think about the name, and tradition family units.Your experience of men being attracted to your ability to "shoot the shit" is familiar to me. I wonder if it has to do with the tendency for men to prefer to talk ideas and women to talk emotions? When a woman talks ideas with a man, it can make them feel understood, and that is a deep (and often unmet) need for lots of people. If men are used to women only wanting to talk about emotional/relational things, it's probably a huge relief to be able to connect with a woman on a different level. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/02/19 06:55 AM |
