Attractive women who aren't messed up in some way get a wider choice of friends, they don't have to settle for friendships with the guys who want to fuck them.

You almost certainly are less likely to choose your male friends for their looks, and to have a higher standard for your male friends behaviour towards you because you aren't on some level trying to fuck your male friends. Plenty of pleasant decent women out there but that's not on your criteria list for a female friend.

That's like...omg it's been so long... quadratic equations right? There's a formula. I learned it over forty years ago. I was fourteen or fifteen. Fucked if I could do it now without a refresher course though.

I think it's more that if you've crossed the line from generic conservative to batshit crazy and can't find a like minded partner you're probably going to have to pretend you're something not crazy. And crazy people rarely realise they are crazy...so they are never going to be able to untangle what's the crazyness to remove from how they present themselves to end up coming across as a generic conservative. If they could work that out, that there's a line there to be crossed and they crossed it, …

Well you know...just like childcare jobs attract the pedos at a somewhat higher rate than everyone else, and mortician jobs attract necrophiles at a somewhat higher rate than everyone else, prison jobs attract a different sort of sexually fixated person at a higher rate than everyone else. Most women would rather take a job at a fast food restaurant or cleaning toilets in a hospital than a job in a mens prison. Most women are actively avoiding those jobs in men's prisons.

As soon as you start revealing facts about yourself we start using those facts in an ongoing risk assessment of what your potentially dangerous or relationship destroying traits might be. It's not confined to any one particular fact about you... and other guys with other facts are getting those other facts used by women for risk assessments too. We start assigning probabilities based not just on that one fact but on that one fact plus the other facts about you and what we know of how the world w…

Society gives us many conflicting messages. Including that it's great to be attractive. It is a grevious mistake to only choose those messages that do not lead to extra work.

Nobody wants to be sitting in their living room with a bunch of their friends and their male partner and then their male partner who has never in his entire life proven to anyone he can think his way out of a paper bag starts arguing with them about something like bus timetables and eventually implies they are stupid. Which rather does tend to be what happens when men who think they are smart but have zero proof for that end up with women who think they are smart and actually do have proof of it…

If someone don't want to be a provider at all.ever then they need to seek out someone willing and able to do all of that for them. Such people of either gender are remarkably uncommon nowadays. We generally live as modern day peasants...all adults capable of work must work to provide. If one person stops there will be no comfort and no security for anyone. And then you've got to have the thing they are willing to become your provider for. In other words get in the gym and do some squats boy, and…

Most men are fat too. And a lot of fat guys are in total denial about it...they look at their extra pounds and decide it is more muscle than it actually is. Of course a man is going to get poor results when he thinks what he's bringing to market himself is significantly better than what it actually is I suggest men who feel like you do should go get body composition scans, to make absolutely sure they aren't lying to themselves about themselves.

It isn't creepy for a 40 year old to date a 29 year old but it's definitely a choice that has a potential downside as well as an upside. Happened with a couple I know who had about the same age gap. She was part of his social scene so had sized him up real well. She got pregnant real quick, like obviously wasn't using any contraception on that one night stand and he was surprised but manned up, spent the part of his life when he should have been doing the last minute retirement fund top up inste…

It's a commercial decision and should be up to the business owners. They're going to do something to attract more people whatever. Personally I think without free entry for women what is likely to happen if a manager decides more women need to be attracted is there will be music, entertainment and maybe a drink of the day that are geared more closely to women's preferences.

People should date whoever they want who is willing to date them. However, the useless fail sons of the middle class are never as attractive to the most beautiful daughters of the working class as those fail sons think they should be. The reality is that the incredibly beautiful 21 year old working class woman waitressing at a local diner will almost always choose a young handsome personable carpenter or similar around her own age and not the weird chubby barely-competent 37 year old son of a gu…

People who aren't fun are the bottom of the barrel. They are miserable buzzkills even when in their own company. If you're having trouble being fun and deeply resenting doing something that feels so unnatural to you then it's not going to help you much if a few members of the opposite sex who also aren't fun decide to be fun. They are, if much improved, going to sail off into the sunset with someone who is fun and you're still stuck to the bottom of the barrel.

Having a preference for a trait or behaviour in others that you don't have yourself is not enough by itself to make a person a hypocrite. Hypocrisy is claiming a certain belief or moral or behavioural standard then acting in a way that contradicts that claim. If they said "yes I always approach because that's the morally right thing for anyone to do" and then didn't approach that would be hypocrisy. If they say "nah I just don't think approaching is for me, guess the only way to get into my knic…

It's ok to feel bad for aspects of a screw up's life that led them to do the bad thing. I feel sad about some aspects of, for example, Erin Paterson's life. Exactly this. Friendship is a flexible thing. People move closer in and further out from each other without much fuss. Your friend decides to go teach English in Korea? They are still your friend you just see them less in person and are less part of their day to day. Your friend has had a failed relationship and wants to spend a bit more time with you and a few other friends…

What's for breakfast over on PPD? Tiktok brain rot. Nobody with lick of sense cares. You don't stop them marrying. Whoever he marries she will be thoroughly westernised in under five years. Everybody is searching for some sort of sense of dignity. You get to feel smug in the company of other folks who share your priorities and think you've done well achieving goals associated with those priorities. So why shouldn't someone who manages to find a very suitable partner to help them buy a three bedroom family home and fill it with kids also feel similar emotions.

So after I left my husband back in the early nineties one of my friends got kind of salty that after a while I took up with a different one of my friends and not him. Everything you get wrong in your beliefs about women takes you another few steps away from being able to interact with women in normal productive ways. Every disabled woman I know has played the romantic hand she has been dealt and not whined about it. It's high functioning autistic men who don't know how to get the fuck over it. And I tend to agree with black women that the men who don't want them aren't worth having anyway.

I don't know the intricacies of the US child support system. In Australia the only way you're going to end up in prison for not paying child support is if in your efforts to not pay you fall foul of a law that isn't primarily about child support. For example if you start keeping two sets of books on your business to minimise official income and then the tax office finds out through data matches and stuff and then the tax office and/or the agency that deals with keeping financial entities honest …

Why for you rot your brain on the tok tiks? Anyhow. Same thing as any other part of the year. Judging accurately how much looking you can get away with before it gradually starts putting you in a situation of potential disadvantage is a social skill. Oh noes, women judge subjectively whose dangling smelly penis that shoots DNA they want to let into their vagina, oh noes. Tough shit. It's still a game involving skill. With the initiating thing it's more that mostly a woman who is interested will give a few subtle indicators of interest and if he doesn't work out what's going on and at least meet her interest with an equivalent subtle indicator of interest of his own, then he's a dud. Women warning women until we're all so suspicious of initial attraction that we date sexlessly until initial attraction has abated and we can judge on the basis of all those stellar qualities the Nice Guys say they bring to the table. But lol, no.

Of course hobbies can be done as part of your normal routine. That chick knitting an incredibly complicated Scandinavian knit sweater on her daily train commute is still knitting an incredibly complicated pattern that is part of a steady accumulation of skills and techniques she is acquiring. "you quickly see patterns in online dating" Yes. The women who have very low tolerance for some specific aspects of the bullshit side of masculinity have left the apps. That's the pattern. Have men ever considered leaving the apps too, if they're not one of the guys the women still seriously using the apps want? Or are they just going to keep whining online?

I personally do not think that women's caution about strangers or indeed anyone's caution about strangers is autistic and neurotic. It's less about getting that high initial sentence... that's usually carried by general sentencing guidelines...and more about making sure that no early release happens and if it does happen the entire country gets to know. After twenty years they're often the only ones outside the immediate family who have the details of the case burned into their brains and are quick to respond by raising an outcry.

True Crime is a more diverse genre than it looks from outside. People who find a sense of belonging among those who are seeking to identify the John and Jane Does who died nameless tend to be a different crowd to those who get on the gossip bandwagon of the latest salacious trial tend to be a different crowd to those who like the latest big well reported trial (salacious or not) because they love to see the working parts of law in action tend to be a different crowd to those who obsessively read…

Nobody other than Project 2025 and their like is actually trying to stop you...and those people are generally wealthy white male Christian centred. Not even close to being definitively a woman problem. Some women see it as kind of trashy, stupid and low class but that doesn't really alter the SMP or RMP much because it's just one more of the many things people have to sort through the potential partners for a similar opinion on in order to have a comfortable relationship. Those guys only get accessed if a woman who exists in their social circle gives them repeated indicators of interest then eventually makes the approach herself once she's fairly sure the approach will be appreciated. They're part of the reserve that women potentially access when they are fed up with dating apps and delete their accounts. They're quite low down in priority. Mostly women don't think about them. I just don't think the sort of guy who pays for sex... especially the sort of guy for whom it wasn't a desperate one off and who habitually pays for sex...values having the sort of relationship I prefer to have. They think the entire purpose of the universe is to help them get their dick touched. And that any woman who isn't helping them get their dick touched is bad, mad or stupid for going against the purpose of the universe. It's that simple. If I'm a woman not touching their dick then according to them I'm supposed to be taking out the competition and keeping some guy who is better than them at getting his dick touched locked down.

Recent changes haven't necessarily been reflected in any numbers they have generated for themselves yet. And the numbers we get given don't even necessary reflect accurately what is going on. School won't do jack to stop your autistic kid getting bullied... you're too poor for a lawyer? Well send some of the older siblings to throw the b…

I think it's more that there's no shame left if you're poor enough. Every damn vested interest in the world thinks it should have a right to via shame control when and how people breed. The natural response to that is to become extremely reluctant to breed at all. Unless you're very very wealthy and your money is completely capable of creating a bubble for you and your kids. Or you're poor enough that everyone hates you anyway and well what's one more bit of shaming to endure.

If I had a thousand lives to piss away on helping useless men I might spend half of those lives trying to make something of a man who is kind of lazy or lacks a positive attitude to life or is kind of stupid or doesn't like bathing or compulsively steals from his employer or can't stay faithful or spends every available moment masturbating or gaming. I don't have a thousand lives to live. I have but one life. And if helping him is going to make that one life of mine worse, he's going to have to …

I never have...but I have been the one without a finalized divorce who was being dated. I personally think there's different rules for people from your social circle and people outside your social circle. In your social circle you're going to lose friends but if you can weather that go right ahead. Outside your social circle the main issue is having enough evidence to know for sure the breakdown of marriage is not going to be walked back. Far far more important is never date someone who is still…

Well yeah... because pushing harder and fighting harder to make it last would have broken it sooner and I could have been out a couple of years quicker. That would have been lovely.

I've never cheated but I assume some of the emotional rewards of it are similar to but more intense than finding a better lover shortly after leaving a bad relationship...which is something I have done. You're living a life that you don't really want and then you go from that to experiencing a triumphant feeling of screw you I got mine, I get what I want.

There's like...only about 27 million people in Australia but some Chinese dudes smuggled in 155kg of a date rape drug? https://youtu.be/X8j4qez5hQM?si=6kMe8KBt2ERv7Xyu

I think if he supports measures that would result in the sort of loser who would beat a wife getting to have and prevent the leaving of a wife, he might as well be a wife beater himself. He's basically unfit to have a daughter with. Women are just reporting their rapes more. But fewer rapes are by their husbands because now society is run such that they just don't gotta hang round if that's happening to them.

I don't think violence against women has increased. I think it now happens in public against women who are strangers. Because we're not pressuring women into marrying those dudes or staying married to those dudes so those dudes lack easy access to their traditional victims of choice...a family...a woman who tried to make it work and some children they had with that woman. People don't magically become drastically different people because they get married. Violent resentful jerks who think the wo…

Nobody has any problem with anyone getting in shape, making more money and presenting themselves better. All these things are broadly regarded as good. It's when you spout a whole bunch of red pill rhetoric with it that you will lose everyone.

Nah most of the whiny sexless dudes gonna get drafted and then get killed by drones. The ones that manage to get their shit together will come back and have nothing but contempt for how they used to be. It sucks but well there we have it, the future America voted for.

I had my chance with the favoured scion of one of the top 20 families in my city and I outright refused it and I would again. And he wasn't even one of the worst rich men. He was still trash. And he went on to make a whole lot of people very unhappy. The very rich and the very poor tend to be trash.

Well...yeah? The women who actually prefer to date violent felons rather than just get caught up in the lies and have to extract themselves having learned a life lesson usually have multiple dodgy guys on the go at once. It's not rocket science and it isn't hard to understand. She's visiting her boyfriend or husband in prison but she's also fucking her dealer for free drugs and regularly falling drunkenly into bed with her boyfriend's best friend and picking up the occasional random grifter in a…

Maybe they've got unrealistic ideas because women in their fifties rarely complain to strangers and their male children about what actually makes them sad.

Nobody says you can only approach this that or the other adult woman. We know it's legal. Just that we have a very low opinion of you when you do make certain approaches. And it's really no different to how you have a low opinion of women who go all googly eyes for the boys who used to bully you in high school. What the fuck was wrong with some guy's upbringings that they ended up thinking they've got a right to never have anyone find their behaviour less than ideal? Like seriously. The rest of …
