I would say most people need a little luck to make that a success.

No. I think they want a solution that is easy in theory but impossible to know for sure. They want a woman who would have probably dated them in their "fun years" as well as long term stability. Thing is you're never gonna know if thats what would've happened.

He thinks he missed out on fun, younger days and depending on your point of view, he most definitely did. He had no self confidence or esteem and was very shy. His work has enabled him to develop the above and I get the feeling he wants to have his cake and eat it so to speak.

I think it may be more of an issue if one side of the relationship hasn't done the "fucking around". I know one dynamic where both (m and f) are in their early thirties. The woman had done the above and had her fun days etc and the man has had a couple of LTRs. When they got together about 2 years ago he was delighted, they are both great people, as he thought he was dating someone out of his league. They are both financially stable independently. However in the last couple of months he has star…

People always want what they haven't got. Been the same for years.

Just because you're ugly as a man doesn't mean you find ugly women attractive. Attraction tends not to work like that. Obviously can't be applied universally but hey it is what it is.

Yes as I was writing that, I thought bit obvious so it'll more than likely be ignored. Then I also realised what sub I was posting in 😉

So in essence physical attraction gives you more opportunities whether your personality is a bag of shit or not.

Is it not possible to bluff a personality so to speak to get what you want then bail?

Yeah I was 21 a month short of 22 and even now I regret it. Had chances but low self esteem and undiagnosed phimosis pretty much put up a self built wall. It's my biggest regret now (I'm 45) that I missed out on those younger years so to speak. You always want what you ain't got.

Ive been cheated on once that I know of. Genuinely didn't bother me one iota. I'm with someone now and if she cheated it wouldn't bother me either. Years ago I got jealous quite quick. It seems I've gone too far the other way now for some reason.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
