Q4W: How would you react if your boyfriend lied to you about his financial situation?I guess it depends on how long we’ve been dating for. In general though I would feel pretty shit about being lied to. Dating someone who starts out with the mindset that he doesn’t trust me is bound to fail. I also think frugality when not necessary is kind of odd. Saving money is one thing but not enjoying yourself even though you have the means to doesn’t really work with how I want to live my life. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/12/19 02:31 PM
Why Men can financially support/accept their partner but women only want men who are financially stronger than them? You’re talking outliers. Of course there are men who pay for their girlfriend’s college but this is not the standard. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/12/19 10:18 AM
Why Men can financially support/accept their partner but women only want men who are financially stronger than them? What you’re talking about is a sugar daddy and not a partner. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/12/19 10:16 AM
Women are’t less violent; they're simple weakerAm i weaker than pretty much every man? Yes. Could a hurt/kill a man with a weapon? Probably also yes. What’s stopping women from being violent is not the fact that they lack the ability of being so. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/12/19 04:26 PM
Men shouldn't settle. No one is forcing you to be with anyone. You can choose to be single or keep looking. The problem I see who these kinds of discussion is that people who don’t want to settle tend to over inflate both their “value” so to say. Don’t settle for sometime you think you’re better than but don’t wine when hot girls don’t want you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/11/19 11:12 AM
Why do some men gatekeep nerdier hobbies or interests against women? This isn’t about gatekeeping the hobby itself though, but not wanting women in your safe space. I had a friend who would always bring her boyfriend when we hung out and no one liked that because this changed the dynamic. I don’t see how this translates to gatekeeping the hobby itself. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/11/19 08:00 AM
Why is no blame put on the men who leave their families, resulting in single moms?Yeah I’m interested in hearing from the people who do only/ mostly blame women (which looking at this forum seems to be a lot of people). On here I see very little about dead beat dads. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/11/19 09:43 AM
Why is no blame put on the men who leave their families, resulting in single moms?I feel like you are talking about a certain situation which is that some girl decides to have unprotected sex with a deadbeat loser and then keeps the pregnancy going with no plan or thought about the child. Because I can agree that this is more on the woman than the man. However, not every single mom became a single mom like this. Perhaps they were married for many years and he leaves her, she finds out that he’s cheating or the relationship just isn’t working. This is the single mom I don’t un… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/11/19 03:38 PM
Why is no blame put on the men who leave their families, resulting in single moms?I can agree with you on the first one. There are a lot of shitty single moms who absolutely doesn’t deserve the praise they get. I disagree a bit on the second one though. Not all men leave during the pregnancy, and as soon as the child is born both parents have the same amount of responsibility. You don’t know the circumstance which led to the her being single which is why I think it’s weird with the collective hate against all of them | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/11/19 03:27 PM
Why is no blame put on the men who leave their families, resulting in single moms?I don’t think the woman is to blame just for ending the relationship. Perhaps the man was cheating, being abusive etc. You also don’t know the circumstances of every single mom there is. Seems unfair to judge everyone as bad. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/11/19 03:20 PM
Why is no blame put on the men who leave their families, resulting in single moms?So it’s women’s fault for choosing shitty men but not shitty men’s fault for well.. being shitty? I also don’t think women actively choose men they think are going to leave them. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/11/19 03:15 PM
How do I deal with a crush on someone else when in a relationship?Sounds like this might be my problem as well. I also tend to put too much focus on a relationship being the base of excitement and happiness. If I did leave him for someone else the excitement would wane after some time as well. What do you do to work on making yourself happy? | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/10/19 09:01 AM
How do I deal with a crush on someone else when in a relationship? We do go on dates but I guess they can be a little same old. Perhaps I’ll try to vary it a little! | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/10/19 08:29 AM
How do I deal with a crush on someone else when in a relationship?Tbh I think it’s mostly the newness and excitement that comes from a crush. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/10/19 08:28 AM
Would you date a bisexual man?I would not. I feel a bit bad about it since I feel like it shouldn’t be a factor but it is for me, and I won’t date someone just to be a including person. | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/10/19 04:50 PM
CMV: It’s not possible to have a “just for me” slut. Either a woman is into sex or she’s notWanting to have a lot of sex does not equal wanting to have a lot of sex with a lot of people. It is entirely possible to find a woman who is really into sex but only in a relationship. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/19 02:04 PM
Is it wrong to have a placeholder GF?you’re honest and tell her that this is not going anywhere serious, then no. If you however act like this is going to last forever while knowing you’ll eventually dump her, then I’d say it’s kind of an asshole move. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/03/19 11:57 AM
Marrying a wealthy womanIf you believe that she is inevitably going to leave you for someone richer than you I would recommend you not to get married at all. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/03/19 05:22 PM
Is there a reason for men to take the 'time and money' approach to dating?I think people are asking this question like it’s all or nothing. If I date a guy and he’s always paying for anything then I do feel like I lose a bit of respect of me as he is kind of putting me on a pedestal. On the other hand I’ve also met guys that refused to pay for anything, even if it was only a couple of bucks and I’d bought them similar stuff before. Lost interest in them before before it got anywhere too. Not every date has to be at an expensive restaurant which this scenario makes it … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/03/19 07:19 PM
How much of a dealbreaker is penis size?I’d say somewhere around average. An inch shorter or longer isn’t really going to be an issue and I think this goes for most people. There are however always some women who will see it as super important but that’s just life. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/03/19 12:40 PM
CMV: Asking girls out in real life makes looks matter very little if at least averageI’d say it’s more that you get as chance to try. Say you’re average looking. Most girls on apps won’t talk you you. If you instead talk to girls in real you need to have a really great and funny personality to make up for your averageness. If you’re however just som average guy with an average personality, then asking girls out in real life is not much better than dating online. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/03/19 08:58 AM
| -2 | Confidence only works for attractive men.Confidence only works for attractive men because being confident is part of what makes them attractive. Confidence makes you attractive, not the other way around. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/02/19 05:10 PM |
What are some things you wish men understood about women/the female experience?Yes I understand that it’s a metaphor. What I’m wondering about is what you base it on. What things are average and ugly women given which men aren’t? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/02/19 07:20 PM
What are some things you wish men understood about women/the female experience? Please clarify what these continents and countries that women are supposedly being given consists of. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/02/19 02:55 PM
What are some things you wish men understood about women/the female experience?A lot of what men seem to be female privilege only apply to young and attractive women | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/02/19 12:09 PM
People commonly say that women mature faster than men, false women's path to maturity is smaller or nonexistent. You’re misinterpreting what they mean by women maturing earlier. It comes down to multiple studies on children where girls mature faster than boys. The boys catch up in their teens and so your idea of maturing having to do with money and status is not what this is about. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/19 07:15 PM
CMV: If you want an low ambition SAHM, you agree to take on the risk of alimony if you two divorce at any point. The reasoning behind it is that when someone becomes a SAHM they give up potential earnings and work experience. They also do a job at home that would cost money to hire someone else to do. Paying alimony is a way to compensate for this. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/01/19 06:49 PM
CMV: the reason women date shitty men and bad boys is not because they find them attractive, but because they don’t think they’re good enough for a good manAs a woman who dates “bad boys” it’s because I find them hot and intriguing. I want excitement and that has nothing to do with my perceived self worth. Same goes for literally everyone I know. Women aren’t victims. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/01/19 09:08 PM
