Women's centres usually deal with sexual assault and discrimination and things common to university settings. These are not gender specific issues. they're worried about toxic masculinity (the kind where it only idealizes only certain traits, and shuns men who do not display these traits) So... feminism? I don't know enough about the proposal to answer all of those questions the in manner you would like. While I agree with you I think there are two very different degrees of sexism here that need to be differentiated. Rush called someone a name one time. Sharon joked and laughed repeatedly, even after being called out, about a heinous, sexual violent crime. These two instances should not simply be grouped together and dismissed.

I think people recognize that most subs have a similar no rage comics policy. Thank you for letting it stay. My goal with this post was bring up the premise/existence of the comic, seeing as it made it into the top 100 front page posts while being a self proclaimed advertisement for this ad. I personally thought the story was ignorant and painted r/mensrights in a bad light. But at the same time the r/mensrights plug at the end attracted more subscribers, so I was torn.
