What he means is that when a married woman earns her degree(s) and gradually starts making more money than her husband, she will begin thinking about herself. Instead of contributing to a retirement nest egg, as a couple, most women will see that as an opportunity to leave their man because they do not need the provisions from a man anymore. Thus, leading women to initiate 80% of all divorces.
