I’m 29 and feel like my wife is abusiveI would go into counseling with her understanding that it will take time and you will not tolerate the mistreatment anymore. Now with you dealing with what she said it may not be how she truly feels about you, and it was just her immature way of going about things. You need to put your foot down. If you feel like the damage has been done and you cannot look past it then you need to immediatley contact legal guidance on how to go about the situation and start documenting outbursts. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 08:26 PM
I’m 29 and feel like my wife is abusiveWas in the same position you were just younger than you are at the time. Wife would go on screaming and I couldn't do a single thing right it felt like until I basically would get home from work and lock myself in the man cave until she wore herself out screaming like a toddler overdue for a nap. Nothing is more important than your health both mental and physical. continue to do what you are doing and not escalating or saying anything hurtful back when she screams at you if you can start recordi… | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 07:11 PM
My wife(19f) wants a divorce from me(19m)Man, I got married at 21 and that was still far too early. This may be harsh but once she opened those dating apps there is no fixing this. She has already made her decision and you need to focus on your kid. The most important thing a child needs in life is a father figure regardless of gender. Now is your chance to learn from the situation, hit the gym find a hobby or something to take your mind off of it and fight for the sake of that child. YOU NEED TO TELL YOURSELF THAT YOU DESERVE BETTER. … | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 02:35 PM
Is my loose-change bowl a permanent home for my old wedding ring?Pretty sure after the divorce I went back home and rode a specific rollercoaster called the Banshee at Kings Island. The ride reminded me of her constant screaming. Safe to say it somehow fell out of my pocket while on the ride. I've never been more at peace. After that funny story I'd either sell it or throw it in the nearest large body of water. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 02:19 PM
Do we need a Live chat?Men's mental health is already taken sadly as a joke. After going through a divorce on my own away from family and friends I personally believe that if I had somebody who had or was going through the process to vent to and ask questions would've made it much less of a hit to the psyche. Keep in mind that not everybody has friends or somebody to turn to and I'd rather help a fellow man out than he do something stupid or end up hurting himself or somebody else. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 02:11 PM

Life Lessons While in The Marines. My response is going to be short and simple. If you are happy and content with life at the moment... why fix something if it isn't broken. Best of luck to you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 02:00 PM
Life Lessons While in The Marines.Thank you. I hope all is good in your life as well. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 06:24 AM
Life Lessons While in The Marines.Divorce is a mental war. If you let it sink it’s teeth into you it will take years off your life that you will never get back. The hardest part is the start but after it’s all over you actually start to remember what you enjoy in life instead of always being on edge, depressed or anxiety riddled. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 06:23 AM
Life Lessons While in The Marines. Thanks Brother, She was prior navy so she had some knowledge on the Corps. Wouldn’t have surprised me if she was a prior bunny but when you are younger you tend to think with the wrong head. I don’t know where you are living now but if you happen to be around any departments (DOE, DOD etc.) Finance jobs are always on zip recruiter and definitely on USAJOBS. I wouldn’t necessarily look at it in a negative aspect though you are about to have a degree I am assuming since you are graduating. veteran… | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 06:14 AM

Life Lessons While in The Marines.Happens all the time they can cry wolf to your command and career is basically over. Should've listened when they said. "If the Corps wanted you to have a wife, they would have issued you one." To answer your last question definitely the wife 😂 | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/06/23 05:49 PM
Life Lessons While in The Marines.Divorce was a lengthy process due to the obligation of a year legal separation. By the time the divorce was finalized we had already started seeing other people for quite some time, so it was quick conversations about legal docs and that was it. She kept what was hers and vice versa. Only damage was she had opened credit cards in my name (because I sure as hell don't shop at Victoria secret) Had them closed shortly after I found out. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/06/23 05:47 PM
