Because I couldn't actually afford to pay for any of them, but shutting of someone's electricity, or having them evicted for unpaid mortgage, or at fault in an accident with no coverage feels immoral? Shutting off someone's wifi by comparison feels pretty harmless. Makes perfect sense to me. And how long exactly, should you pay for Wi-Fi in a house that you were locked out of while you were paying thousands of dollars to stay in a hotel? I feel like 5 months is long enough. Service by publication, she told a judge she didn't know where to find me therefore I could not be served, a judge agreed she made every "reasonable effort" and granted her default judgement. My friend divorced his wife, she was a like "gone girl" for over a decade, he had to hire a private investigator to search for her for 18 months before the court would even hear his case.
