I think it's weird that anyone wants to be in a relationship where they can't be honest with their spouse. Why are you breeding with someone that you don't feel comfortable saying "Dude, no" to. He'll feel ashamed if you tell him to take a shower? WTF. He'll stop being spontaneous if you tell him, "Stop trying to shove my head into your groin!" Good. In all seriousness, don't get married or have babies with men before you get the opportunity to say "You stink" or "I don't feel like having sex ri…

It still doesn't make sense. It's not just about child care. Men like this are 50/50 when it's something they care about or can see. Anything that happens when they're not around, or that they aren't invested in will become their wife's expense. Did the dishes while your 50/50 husband was out? Well, he didn't see it, so it didn't happen. Spend emotional energy meal planning and prepping? Well, he'd rather eat out anyway, so that doesn't count. Agree to shop for Christmas gifts for his mother? We…

I think this underestimates that closure is sometimes important to the woman. A lot of women want to feel confident enough to say how they really feel. She did. That can be empowering for her. Especially if she didn't really speak up for herself at the time.

I feel like the knight should be saying, "I would have helped if you had asked me to."

He thinks he’s entitled to half the equity in the house? What a joke. Sorry, scrote, the state has a vested interest in making sure your kids are taken care of. She gets it all after you abandon them and fuck off to Texas. A year from now, he’ll just be one more dude on Reddit complaining that divorce laws are uNfAiR tO mEn!

Well, that’s going to be expensive for him. Half his pension and retirement account, alimony, child support, half of all other assets. Most divorce agreements will put him on the hook for life insurance and college costs. Sorry bud, you can’t be married to a SAHM for 15 years and just walk away. His new independent, ambitious woman isn’t going to be impressed when he can’t afford even a molten lava cake at Chili’s.

My mom complained to me that when my brother's ex moved out, she became totally unreasonable and crazy and "She even took the box of Kleenex!" I was like, "Wait. Hold up. You're telling me that there was only a single, solitary box of Kleenex in their house and she took it?" My mother confirms. I said, "You know she bought that Kleenex box and every other Kleenex box that was ever in that house, right? A woman doesn't just grab the open box of Kleenex unless there's a history there." My mom hesi…

Sometimes I wonder if men think I popped out of the womb knowing everything. Like I'm preloaded with how to buy gifts for people, and how to make pancakes. No. I Googled that shit. He can too.

At first I wondered if it was staged, because of the way he was grinning so hard. But then when the dog is like: "It's on!" and the lady I assume is her mom picks up those flip flops and is ready to weaponize them, I realized... Nope. Just a rapist. Dude saw her dancing in her living room and figured he'd go ahead and surprise her with some rape.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
