You're talking about 'growth' and moving 'forward'. Well moving towards what exactly? I can build a great body, bang a ton of girls, travel the world etc just so I can be happy when it's my time to die? Well why can't we just choose to be happy with ourselves right now. What I'm ultimately asking is this - How can one way of living be inherently 'better' than another way of living? Money, looks, girls, service. These are man-made metrics of success and happiness. I believe that life just 'is'. A…

What would you tell someone like me who believes that 'life' itself is completely pointless? Rich or poor, friends or no friends, travel or no travel. It's all the same. You ask me what kind of lifestyle I want, but here I am struggling to find a point to it. It is ultimately this nihilistic philosophy that is holding me back. Even if I had a billion dollars, I would not think that life is any better or worse than it is today.

Is sugarcane juice unhealthy too? Because we don't really eat the whole of it anyway. I drink a glass or two of fresh sugarcane juice everyday to fight the heat :p

Even getting laid is for your own sake. And in the pursuit of doing so, we, as men, have to put in tremendous amount of effort and discipline. I personally am not a believer in the statement that one particular goal can be 'better' than others. choose what the society wants from you Well in this case, it is the individual who wants to get laid. And it is the society that shames men who try to embrace thier sexuality.

Do you think that the best course of action would be to abandon the thought of escalating my current acquaintances,be friends with them (without hope), focus on improving SMV and try to escalate with new girls? Seems like the right thing to do, but it's gonna be very difficult knowing I have to start all over again. I'm not a naturally extroverted guy so I find these things exhausting.

So if i understand correctly, does this mean that some girls will inherently like me and some won't? Are my actions to get them to like me more pointless? Anyway I think the problem here is deeper than these stupid texts. I need to work on increasing my self esteem to where I wouldn't feel the 'need' to text but the 'want' to text out of abundance.

The girls I'm referring to are kinda in the blank space between friends and 'something more'. Not exactly in either category. That is why I'm being extra concerned with all this. Texting too often might push me into the friend category. Now say I stop initiating texts for a while, and they still dont initiate texts on thier own, does that mean I should abandon all hope and either a) text them and accept thier friendship b) remove them from my life completely? These seem to be the only two option…

They way my brain rationalizes this texting is that 'If you dont text them regularly, they will forget about you.' It is this irrational 'fear' that eventually breaks my discipline to not text when feeling needy.

I am a naturally quiet guy. A lot of people assume I'm shy or boring at parties, but internally, I'm at peace with myself. I'm also horrible at small talk because it seems so pointless and forced. This is holding me back. What can I do about it?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
