I think he’s popular cause whatever else he is he is a great communicator. His videos are easy to understand and he gets his point across very well. I don’t like the guy at all and think he is a POS, but people should be paying attention to why he’s so popular. There will be more like him in the future

They won’t do it because it’s not their problem, just as men would not do the same in reverse. The problem is how many men promote this idea of singleness being bad. So many men, believe it or not, thrive of the current culture of promiscuity and hedonism. A man who does get a lot of women and derives his worth from that, will not feel any need to make singleness acceptable. This is the inherent problem for both red pill and black pill men. Society as a whole doesn’t care, and most men (or at le…

In America, 22 is way too old. I would say 18 is the median based on my personal experience

Most people lose it far younger, coming from someone who lost it at that age
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 10:39 PM

No. It is always right to be honest and upfront. If the bedroom is dead, tell your partner and make the arrangements. To do otherwise is cowardly

Fair enough, but we’re talking about young kids that don’t know better. Really shouldn’t surprise you that 14 year olds act this way
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:54 PM
1

I get what you’re saying, but OP was saying young men who think being nice = sex are disrespecting bodily autonomy, that’s what I was referring to
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:43 PM
1

Key word on “fully”. A 14 year old who thinks being nice to him will get him sex is quite a bit different from a 14 year old who thinks rape is ok. OP made it seem like anyone who thinks being nice = sex is disrespecting women’s autonomy, but I certainly won’t hold it against a naive 14 year old for believing something like that
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:35 PM

You clearly never spent enough time around people that age. I’m not saying it’s ok, I’m simply saying it’s reality. Most boys grow out of it thankfully
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 01:50 PM
2

Well, I have my own issues with making 17 year olds decide their entire future. All I know is that boys at that age tend to be pretty ignorant of a lot of things
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 01:45 PM
3

All I’m saying is you’re expecting too much of 14 year olds. People grow, people change. I certainly don’t want to be judged about what I believed at that age, and I think we should save judgment for when they become adults
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 01:44 PM

Expecting 14 and 15 year olds entering high school to fully understand women’s bodily autonomy is a fools errand sorry to say. Expecting young boys entering high school to really understand much of anything is a challenge lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 01:31 PM

Fair point
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 04:44 PM

If only society at large believed this
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 04:37 PM

Agreed. All men sooner or later get hit with reality and the nastiness of it. For women I think it takes longer. But most women will be hit with the absurdity of their sky high expectations eventually, as men are. As for housing, part of the issue is developers only build giant McMansions, cause that’s what people crave. The missing middle, as it’s often called, is vanishing. If people actually wanted smaller homes, you’d see more of them being built
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 04:34 PM

The type of socioeconomic level OP is describing is certainly magnitudes above the standard people dealt with in 90’s Russia. There’s a difference from having enough to get by and having to prostitute yourself out for potatoes, which people absolutely did in post Soviet-Russia
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 04:30 PM

I’ll grant it wasn’t the best example on OP’s part. But I think I know what they were getting at. For some people, a place like the Cheesecake Factory wouldn’t be good enough for them, they would NEED a fancier and more “cultured” place to eat at. Some people are just snobbish about really absurd things. And they are often never satisfied with anything. Of course there are plenty of people who are not like that. And they usually go out of there way to avoid people like OP described. But it does …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 04:25 PM

All I’m saying is that it’s not a women only thing
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 03:58 PM

Idk, the houses I see developers building today are all huge and insanely priced. In my town we have plenty of affordable housing, but they’re small houses in bad areas of town that we’re built half a century ago. Seems people nowadays only want giant McMansions, and developers have responded accordingly
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 03:39 PM

There are men like that too. It’s not just women
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 03:37 PM

The big issue is so many people always want more of whatever they want and are never content. I think everyone here is aware of the men and women who have enormously high standards for their partners and will actually overlook people simply because they’re always chasing “the one” who they think is out there. Nobody is ever good enough for them. It goes beyond dating. Some people are simply never satisfied with their house, their job, their vacations, anything. They always want more. Our society…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 03:34 PM

Might just be me, but I think OP is more talking about the impossible standards people set for other and themselves. I’ve meant some different people where nothing was really ever good enough for them. They always wanted more. I think our society would do well to teach people to try and be content with what they have and not be obsessed with always having “more”

Isn’t this basically the credo of every religion and society?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 12:14 AM

Kind of both. Me personally, life is hell right now (for a variety of reasons) so at this rate all I can do is survive. Just got fight through each day, one day at a time. Focus on the now and all that. I just put this out there cause I think it might help single guys to just take it one step at a time and fight through their misery. Sort of works for me anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 03:24 AM
16

Right now it’s just survival for me. Maybe one day I’ll find something enjoyable, but right now I’m just trying to survive. That’s the only goal. I think if a lot of people have this mindset it will help them a lot

You can pretty much do all these things with a partner if you want. Hell it’d probably be easier

Probably worth mentioning that since it’s easier to get sex and a relationship as a women, women would naturally have an easier time understanding they won’t fix all your problems. Most women are experienced with these things, and obviously it didn’t solve all their problems. Sexually and romantically unsuccessful men don’t know this cause to us, these things seem so out of reach and foreign, that we fall into the trap thinking they will fix us. I only just lost my virginity and have never had a…

I agree if for no other reason than any so-called “numbers” you hear spouted like these are almost certainly bullshit. Pretty hard to place a qualitative value on what men and women want. Neither gender is a monolith That being said, I think it is true that women pursue a higher quality type of man (For lack of a better phrase) whereas men have lower standards, due in part because they HAVE too if they want any success in dating. I get where red pillers are coming from, the problem is they’ve go…

Being an 18-25 year old women whose pretty really IS enough for a lot of guys. I’ve seen many women who were downright horrible and awful people get a partner effortlessly. A lot of men really only give a shit about looks, sad to say

I’ve only been once but I’ve heard how awesome Denver is for women who want to date. Granted, the type of people you meet there are pretty much all outdoor bros and what not, but if that’s your type, you can’t do any better as a women. Seattle, San Fran, and other west coast cities full of tech bros are also good bets.

You’d be surprised how many of us want more than just sex. It sounds to me like you’re bad experiences with men mean you judge all men
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 01:04 AM
6

Can’t speak to your experiences. I just don’t agree that men’s problems are caused by male thirst. We’re not all sex obsessed cravens that run from a women the second commitment comes up. We’re just normal guys who’ve been dealt a bad hand
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 12:18 AM

They do the bare minimum so they won’t get sued or anything. It’s not meant to be a pleasant experience. It’s designed to keep you on the app forever. No money to be made if you delete it. Man they’re making a killing out there
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 11:47 PM

A fair point. I avoid the red pill for this very reason. Nothing wrong with finding all that stuff you mentioned as bad, because it is. I guess as a regular, average looking guy (or so I’d like to think) it just sucks that it seems I have to suffer and be judged because women have had bad experiences with red pill assholes. Guilt by association sucks, and we all do it unfortunately
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 11:31 PM

The final solution is realizing there is no solution. You either succeed in dating or you don’t. Cope all you want and try what you can, but prepare yourself for failure all the same
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 11:19 PM

What’s really insidious about it is how little crumbs they give to both men and women. Men’s struggles are obvious, but think of all the women who complain about getting bad matches and messages from creeps. Think that’s by design? There’s no way it isn’t. OLD is slowly but surely eclipsing all other forms of dating. Before long they may have the monopoly. They’ll continue to suffocate us as long as we accept it
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 11:18 PM
7

Wow, I think you hit the nail on the head. You explained it way better than I ever could have. I think the biggest thing for me, which I didn’t even realize until now, is that people automatically assume if you struggle with dating and have never even been in an official relationship, that you’re a loser and an incel. Of course this isn’t true, but most of us (I’ve done this myself unfortunately) believe guys who struggle must have something wrong with them. That’s not always the case however. S…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 11:12 PM

Attraction and personality is what matters. You either have it or you don’t. Doesn’t matter how nice you are. An intriguing personality and an attractive face will get you quite far even if you’re an abusive asshole.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 11:05 PM

I assume this is in relation to our exchange earlier? We men really just want acknowledgment that we’re not some special privileged class women think we are. Believe it or not, we have issues and we struggle too. Perhaps not as much as women, but it’s no cakewalk for us. So many feminists seem to think the very idea that men struggle is just plain misogyny. Dating is just the most obvious example. Why is it so hard for some women to admit that men might have some things harder than they do?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 10:59 PM
9

Agreed. At some point how much longer can you keep trying until the fights knocked out of you? After rejections, and ghosting, and failed situationships, I’m just done. It’s one way to work hard and keep trying, it’s another when all your best efforts continually add up to nothing

God damn I wish I had read this sooner. He’s 100% on the money. Not sure if it fully applies to married couples though. But do young, 20 something single guys, this is the absolute truth

I have tried, but even getting someone to exchange in simple pleasantries is difficult. And interestingly enough, in my experience at least, anyone millennial or older is MUCH easier to engage with than Gen Z. Engaging with anyone in my generation feels damn near impossible. So I might be biased on that front. I Can strike up a conversation with an older dude with relative ease, not so much someone my age, but that’s just me. And no, I don’t really have options beyond dating apps. People don’t r…

For the last time, I know it can’t be totally fair. I simply want to improve it. Why is it that whenever someone says dating should be more fair and even, people think you want to remove bodily autonomy and women’s rights? I’ve never once said anything of the sort. All I want is recognition that dating sucks for men, and that we should encourage women to approach more (if they so choose) and actually do some of the initiating? It’s a win-win for everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 06:05 PM
9

Lol I go outside and talk to people. Quit assuming stuff about a person you don’t know. The real problem is nobody really socializes the way they used too. No point in approaching people who very clearly don’t want to be approached
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:45 PM

You gotta be attractive and extroverted to do that. For average guys, cold approach usually doesn’t work
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:44 PM

There is no equality of opportunity. Dating is easier for women than men. You think it’s fair because you are part of the privileged group
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:41 PM

Dating apps suck for men but they’re our only option. Meanwhile women can just wait around for the right guy to approach her. It sucks but it’s reality. No reason to make it more complicated than that
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 01:39 PM

Well, ideally we all would like incentives and carrots. But more often than not we get the stick. I don’t work because I like it or enjoy money, I do it cause without it I’m dead. More often than not we humans get the stick

For the last time, I do not advocate for redistribution of sex or men being entitled to women’s bodies or whatever. All I ask for is a little more fairness in the dating game, and recognition of the fact that the current way dating is massively favors women. You remind me of those conservatives who act like even the smallest of welfare programs will lead to communism. You realize we can make the dating game fairer with out resorting to straight up sexual Marxism, right?

Yes I’m well aware how supposedly awesome those countries are. I also know a ton of incels and red pill types come from countries like that, the Nordics for example. Read up on the Nazi shooter in Norway or the lonely incel in Finland who shot up a school. Turns out nowhere is perfect

Hell, I’d almost say a good chunk of us were never meant for this world. 200 hundred years ago a lot of us would have died before we left the womb, or died young from disease or whatever. Should a lot of us even be here right now? It’s a morbid thought but I can’t help it

Well I’m a young guy in his 20s and kids are looking like a no-go, so I guess I can’t really understand the fear as I haven’t experienced it. I Can tell you that most men in my generation desperately want a partner and in no way expect all of the emotional labor and the house chores to be done by women, but that’s of course my narrow experience
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 02:24 AM

I never said it could be completely fair. I would just like to see more of a balance. We all agree the economy and the job market should be as fair as possible, why not apply some of the same to dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 02:22 AM
1

Yeah I honestly can’t disagree. We men need and want women a lot more than vice verse. I Guess i find it strange that so many women love being single and child free whereas for me and many other men it absolutely sucks
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 11:00 PM
2

Eh, it happens to both men and women. The main issues are how awful so many people are at communicating, low attention span, and worst of all, the fact that so many people just can’t be honest. If you lose interest or feelings for someone and you guys are dating, close friends etc. YOU NEED TO TELL THEM. There is no worse thing in this world than being ghosted and blocked with no explanation by someone you thought cared about you. I speak from experience. The fact that I’ll never know the reason…

It’s not really possible. I don’t want full dating equality anymore then I want full equality in the economy. What I’d would like is some acknowledgment that men struggle with dating norms and that maybe women should approach more or something like that. The problem is most feminists will not even entertain any ways to change dating, since many dating norms favor women they don’t see any need to change it. And this does NOT mean women should just have sex with anyone or that men are entitled to …

Ah, yes. The end all be all that is therapy. I’ve tried it. It’s helpful. But it’s not the solution to life’s problems like the internet thinks it is
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 04:12 PM
1

I’m more getting at that feminists are all about welfare, high taxation and other left wing ideals like redistribution and what not, but as soon as dating enters the picture they throw this out the window. Men aren’t entitled to women anymore than they are entitled to someone else’s income.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 04:12 PM

Life is suffering. Run it from it all you want, it will always rear it’s ugly head. If you managed to avoid it for most your life, I have no idea how

I never said sex should be equally distributed. I find it strange that feminists want equality and equity in everything except dating. That doesn’t mean everyone should just get sex because they feel entitled too it.

I was saying that men shackled women. You seem to have got it mixed up. And 100 years is a long time. Men have been able to experience being on our own, not relying on other etc. at some point and at some capacity in our lives. I just see so many women talking about how great it is to be single and not tied down and I just don’t get it. Being single and “free” has been my norm for a long time, and I think it sucks. Different strokes and all that, but it’s hard for me to accept that people out th…

Of course not, but the dating game and the sexual marketplace often end up like that, for both genders. It’s just odd that feminists are all about an equal playing field in the economy and what not, but none of that energy is ever given to dating
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:30 AM
6

Well, of course women, who were shackled to men through much of human history, will see rampant individualism as a good thing, as it frees them from any attachment to men. If you’re worried about marrying a bad and unfaithful husband, the best fool proof way to avoid that is too not date men at all. For men, our worth and needs are tied solely to others. Men have been able to go their own way and do what they want for most of human history. We know that it doesn’t really lead anywhere though, an…

I mean, people work hard to give their kids a better life. That’s kind of what I meant to say, but perhaps it didn’t come across that way. The real selfish ones are the ones who demand people like me stay in this hell solely so they feel better. At least with kids you’re working hard to give them a good childhood and all that
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:20 AM
1

Eh, that’s fair. I don’t have kids, I just notice people who do tend to put up with this shit a lot more. It’s all just some coping mechanism to get through the hell that is earth
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:17 AM
2

Worth noting you can be loaded but still come across as poor or middle class. There are also broke people who use credit and debt to appear rich. Sometimes the appearance of being rich is more important than actually being rich
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:09 AM
-3

Because it’s all misery and bullshit. You can’t escape it. May as well have an actual reason other than yourself to put up with it I’ve known guys who would have offed themselves if it wasn’t for their kids. If I didn’t care how it would affect others, I’d have offed myself a long time ago too. Other people are the only reason I’m still here. Without them, why deal with all this?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:06 AM
3

It’s the reason we’re alive. You think our soldiers who fought for our independence (America) did it purely based on self-interest? No they did not. The happiest people I’ve met are those that put the needs of others before their own
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:00 AM
-3

Because LIFE is miserable. That’s what I keep trying to tell you. If you’re going to make it through life, you need to have a reason. I’d love to live in a world where things are wonderful and we don’t have to put up with hardship. If you only live for yourself, you’re only piling more misery upon yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 02:58 AM
-3

Maybe I’m just a cynic, but I think that’s just how the world works. We all put up with bullshit and horrible bosses. If you have kids, you’re more likely to accept the bullshit and put up with the misery life often throws at you, cause you need to put up with it to keep your kids fed. Doesn’t just have to be kids either, we all need some reason to put up with the bullshit day in and day out. Just my 2 cents
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 02:01 AM
2

That’s fair, I can see what you’re saying. I’m not religious but I do happen to see things more from the religious side. For me, life has been mainly suffering, so if I’m gonna stay here on this planet, I may as well do something to minimize others suffering. Guess it’s a philosophical difference
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:18 AM
4

I Can see that. Good point
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:17 AM
5

Chances are if you have kids you’re more likely to put up with that sort of thing. If you’re only living for you, working long and grueling hours becomes much less appealing
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:17 AM
2

Lol I get what you mean. I know so many men who would gladly change so much about themselves if the right person came along. I am also one of them lol Still I think most men are set in their ways and don’t want anyone changing it, same for women
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:16 AM
0

I didn’t mean it quite that way. Human history is full of people sacrificing themselves for a higher cause and the good of their society and people. That’s not quite the same as giving your life away to a career, which by and large still seems to be the norm for the average American sadly
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:14 AM
1

As a side note, It is interesting that modern feminism, which is by and large a left wing movement, has such a libertarian and capitalistic view of dating and relationships. The way many of them talk about men and men’s issues they sound like conservatives complaining about welfare and poor people. Just an observation
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:12 AM
1

I say this through a man’s perspective, so it’s fair that women might seen it differently. I think it’s still relevant to both genders but it’s a fair point you make. Men are just as guilty of not wanting to make things work in my opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:09 AM
2

Interesting perspective. Thanks
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:08 AM

As much as feminism claims to be for gender equality, it is first and foremost concerned with rights for women. Inequality in dating benefits women, so they see no reason to change it. Anything that benefits women in society and patriarchy is not a concern for feminists
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 10:37 PM

You’re reading way too much into it. I was trying to make a point
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 10:28 PM

Didn’t compare them. I merely said if women aren’t expected to care about men’s issues, then men shouldn’t have to care about women’s issues
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 10:23 PM
4

I could say the same about the wage gap or sexual violence towards women, but I don’t because that’s pretty shitty. I’m not saying women should have to focus all their attention and help men who are lonely, but to just bury your head in the sand and say “not my problem!” Is IMO wrong We’re all in this together. I really can’t stand this whole “I don’t care about the opposite genders problems” from both men and women
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 03:28 PM
5

A fair point. I Can definitely see that there are men who act and see things that way. The world is changing faster than any of us like, and this is one side affect of it
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 12:24 AM

Society is obsessed with them because that’s literally how humanity survives. It’s less important now because of overpopulation but prior to the 20th century society NEEDED people to have relationships and children, otherwise it would collapse. That’s why society is so obsessed with relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 10:51 PM

100%. It’s almost like men and women are both people who live and interact with each other and rely on one another in a myriad of ways
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 10:48 PM

Men’s problems are women’s problems, and vice versa. We’re all human, and neither of us are going anywhere. That doesn’t mean women should just roll over and let lonely men have sex with them, it means that if one gender is facing issues pretty soon it will be an issue for the opposite one. It’s just how the world works. I will say that the reason that women struggle with loneliness must less than men is that women just aren’t lonely as much. They often have lots of friends and good social suppo…

In todays age of social isolation, I definitely agree. Not saying it can’t work or can’t be very helpful, but cold approaching will not work for most people in todays say and age. People just don’t interact and talk the way they used to in general. It also pretty much only works for extroverted people, men and women. In my experience introverted women don’t like being cold approaches

It is insane how much things have changed in even just a decade. Millennials and Gen X just doesn’t understand. Dating nowadays is just a whole different ballgame

I see where you’re coming from but in my experience things are rapidly changing. The boomers old ways are dying and the morons obsessed with tradcons are a small minority. I truly believe what I’ve said in this post will be the norm for both genders in the future

More like they’re assumed to all be gay when in reality they’re just friends having a good time

It is changing rapidly I have to say, but what you say is still the norm in a lot of places. I imagine when I’m older what I’ve said here will become more clear and more true

I mentioned in my comment that men are often the ones that say those kind of things to other men

I think it’s changed a lot. For people over 30, I can see what you’re saying may hold true. But in for us in the younger generation it’s changed a lot. It’s a good thing that women are taught that they don’t need a relationship, just wish the same was applied to men

I’ll end it at some point if I don’t find someone. Won’t be for a while but I’ve always wanted to go out on my own terms anyway

True, I should have clarified that it isn’t really easier (hell I’d say it’s harder) for women to form relationships and find the right partner. That’s hard for everyone. The DIFFERENCE however is that women have a much easier time getting their foot in the door. After that it becomes harder, and I’d even argue it’s harder for women. But there can be doubt getting dates and getting attention is easier for women. Sorry I didn’t make that clearer

Interesting. I’m in a town of about 100,000 and I haven’t seen this. Tbh most of my matches on dating apps have always been from girls in other towns nearby. Perhaps it’s different face to face. Different experiences I suppose

Huh. Interesting. Never thought of it that way. Of course I imagine some midsized cities are better than others for dating, but I always just assumed the bigger the better

Really? Never heard this before. It really is better in midsize cities you think?

Any city in general is better for dating. Logically it makes sense that going to an area with more people will lead to more dating options. I don’t know what you mean by “touristy”though. For example the dating scene in Chicago is amazing but “touristy” isn’t the word I would use to describe it, although it certainly has that aspect. Really any big western city will be great for dating You’re absolutely right about the emptiness and un satisfaction we feel too, and that goes beyond dating. We va…

Glad to hear it. I guess most of what I hear about the red pill is from it’s most radical fringes If I may ask what do you think is the primary flaw in the blue pill?

I admit I overlooked some of what you said. Most red pillers I’ve come across have not advocated for such thinks like deleting social media or cutting off porn, I guess I’ve haven’t done enough research then

I see most blue pill advice as “default” advice that everyone is told at some point. “Be yourself”, “the worse she can say is no”, “just have fun with”, etc. I know, you’ve heard all that before, but it truly does work, but only to an extent. You’re right tho that the blue pill is essentially just the anti-red pill. That’s what it was always meant to be. I essentially group any advice or beliefs that you hear often in the mainstream as blue pill. I came to my beliefs because I saw that most red …
