You are entirely missing my point. You’re allowed to do whatever the fuck you want. But those actions have consequences. Maybe the law states he’s not allowed to hit her for her actions, but the law did not stop him from doing so. I’ve found that operating under the assumption that people will follow the rules (or a standard rational response even) will typically get you lit the fuck up.
