The government do not care as long as they don't have to pay more money. They take this to the extreme like victims of statutory rape being sued upon turning 18 for back child support and being ordered to pay it. It is absurd.

Between this and also the narrative of "male violence against women/girls." They sure are doing their best to keep violence against women narrative alive. Like the absurdity of male victims of acts classified as violence against women ( https://archive.ph/P5015 ). And femicide pretty much assuming that women that are killed by men because of their gender.

Well the obvious reason is that government has decided children are entitled to support and if not with custody with child support. And the child is innocent. Though obviously this is absurd demanding a victim to pay the perpetrator (yes technical it is for the child but there is 0 requirement for it to actually be spent on the child). So if the government has deemed it so necessary for this child support to be paid the government should pay it.

People are allowed to pierce themselves, split their tongue, whatever. Would you ban all that too? Not very leftwing at all to restrict people's freedoms like that imo. What are you talking about? Why would you think I would be in favor of that? I am mostly against it for consent reasons I am mostly against it for consent reasons so I am very strongly against it being performed on infants who can not consent. Not because of the harm it causes when adults choose to do it to themselves. But yes fo…

Frequently on reddit I see the main objection to circumcision is the lack of consent. I think the reason for this is that while they don't like the practice they are mostly against it for consent reasons. They do not think it is harmful enough to ban consenting adults from doing it to themselves. People can already mess up their own body in so many ways so why should circumcision in particular be banned? I am mostly against it for consent reasons but I am still in favor of it being generally ban…

I mean some countries have very few men being raped for the very simple reason that rape is classified as unwanted penetration. Which means women raping men aren't counted as rape in the statistics but rather it's own category.

I found myself physically incapable of saying things that I wanted to and tried to say. There was nothing left to say that I hadn't said many times before. I knew what her response would be. I knew it was futile. Almost sounds a bit like a mild form of learned helplessness

I do see why this is not fair, however, I do want to remind you that many supermarkets already sell womens products for higher prices than mens products Yes and? Like if the products are the same why don't women just buy the male product? It seems like complaining that brand clothing are more expensive just because of how it is branded no? And if they are not the same why would you expect the price to be the same?

Why are you implying there is a zero-sum dynamic in which advocating or paying for women’s health harms men’s health? In what way is spending/donating not a zero-sum? Money donated to female causes are not donated to male causes and the opposite is true as well of course.

That's Seema Malhotra. She's the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Equalities. It does affect women and girls more,... Starting off by dismissing an issue affecting men and boys. I guess as usual equality only goes one way more equality for women

I agree with most of your points about the effects sexual failure (real or perceived) has on men, but intactivism can mean different things to different people. Yeah for me it is mostly about bodily autonomy but it is also about harm reduction. Doing a non-urgent operation on a vulnerable infant is incredibly stupid. Like yes it is incredibly rare but there literally have been infants dying from complications caused by circumcisions which are completely unnecessary deaths as all that would be ne…
