So men only wanting to listen to a women because she has sex-appeal is privilege and not sexism? Huh, you really do learn something new every day.

Wait, so you're rationalizing my statement that men only care for women by what a woman can do for them as 'privilege'? Truly astonishing.

The exact scenario you just described exists because of the ideals men place upon society. A man supposedly can't be assaulted because he is supposed to be macho and strong (This is harmful and an incorrect way of thinking) whereas women have been oppressed for generations and it is expected that they are weak. Everything you're describing is because this is how men decided it would work, that women are docile and must be obtained. If you want to change these inequalities, then recognize that th…

If you look at who is liking the profiles of women, it's heavily skewed towards men. Online if a woman isn't selling her body then men don't care for them. There are instances where when men realize a woman is unavailable she loses a huge chunk of her male following. My main point is that men are disgruntled about the 'privilege' of women when men are the ones who established them in the first place.

I'm appalled at this sub. I believe that women should be held accountable for their actions regardless of gender, but this sub isn't that. It's just full of bitter men who feel women who are expressing themselves and voicing their opinions need to be shut down. Just disappointing to see how many people have a misconstrued idea about equality. Thou doth protest too much.

What privileges do women have? If your idea of privilege can be equated to women not being enrolled in the draft or the expectation for women tend to the home instead of work, then understand that men are the ones who established these 'ideals' for women. Also how is twitter genderless? Her profile picture and username are in the screenshot. Otherwise how would we have known that OP is a woman?

It absolutely does. Men however, fear that by pointing out that sexism still greatly affects our society, they are then being called sexist; which is absolutely not the case. These prejudices are internalized in society and the men who are most affronted tend to be either the ones who perpetuate this inequality, or those who are ignorant of this fact.

Hillary had the popular vote, so more people did vote for her. The electoral college however, granted Trump the presidency. Also 50% of the planet being women does not equate to all women having the same equal rights that allows for their voices and opinions to be recognized. There is still a discrepancy that grants this result.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
