2	Are "air models" a real thing? Ive never gotten Id'd once while going out with a promoter. The only time the bouncer will say anything is if there are other people hovering over near by. In that case they'll ask to see "id" but you just show them anything and they will let you in. ie a metro card, credit card, hell ive even showed the back of my phone. 1	Are "air models" a real thing? I've never heard of them referred to as "air models" but yes this happens in major cities all over the world. Typically it is higher end night clubs. The girls do not get paid, but there are many perks. Before being taken to the club they're taken out to very renowned, high class restaurants, and are often invited to vip award shows, concerts, etc. There are even apartments they can live at for no cost as long as they go out a designated amount of times per week.
