I dont care as long as she is satisfied with my meager 140k salary (will probably be 200 within a few years since im on an upward track) She can work, not work, whatever. Just as long as she doesnt pull a my wife, and start nagging and criticizing because the money isnt skyrocketing fast enough to fund her travel hobby, failing businesses and pay off the 10 ccs she ran into the red. I just dont want to get used as an atm. Or rather, use me for one, but then reward me with respect and minimal dra…

People in general are over entitled and think they deserve more than they actually do. Goes for both genders. Just my 2c. I hate all people equally 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣🤭

I just awkwardly sat down next to my wife and was like “so i guess we gotta get married now…” Was not the best omen of times to come I hope the next wife proposes to me and takes coaching sessions from OP to really nail it. I want her to make me feel special and pampered. It better be over the top, custom tailored to me and spectacular. 🥰💅🤷🏻‍♂️😅

Life is more interesting when you swing for the fences, bro. If you’re gonna fail, fail spectacularly in a way that will be immortalized in social media, the local newspaper and the minds of all the akwardly silent onlookers. If the relationship must end, let it end spectacularly. Even if you lose her, you have seared the absolute embarrassment and cringe of that moment into both your souls for all eternity, so in some small way a part of her will always belong to you. Meanwhile if you win, you …

My wife and I married very young and are now headed for divorce. Why? Got married too early, eventually "outgrew" each other. I initially thought we were on the same page as far as valuing family, kids, stability, steady growth in life, etc. Turns out what she really enjoys are things like having midlife crises, chatting with strange men on the internet, going part time at her job while losing money on 3 failing side businesses, comparing me to her careerist uber-materialist friends in "more suc…

Preach, OP. My soon to be ex wife was a much more expensive lay than even a high end escort. Needed to have control over ALL my money and free time and systematically tried to dismantle my mental health and convince me that im the problem. This in exchange for some pillow princess, starfish sex once every week or so. I look forward to putting some young lady through college and ONLY have to pay for sex with money, rather than money plus sanity plus free time. It’ll be nice to be able to just hav…

I agree. I also think love is used against men to get us to sacrifice on behalf of women and children, basically this should be the last generation. Individualism is all that matters. Sure, there will be no children to carry on our legacy but is it not better that at least one group of humans truly get to live life to the fullest and then extinguish ourselves like a beautiful dancing flame? For one sweet moment in the history of the universe we can make it so everyone is just a perfectly self co…

There is far too much emphasis placed on “nurture” in these types of discussions. What your parents teach you to do is basically irrelevant, what matters is what happens when the newly minted untested adult that is you meets the reality that is the dating market. And, in that unforgiving environment the majority of men learn they have to have provider markers of some kind in order to pull women at all, but especially to keep them. Women need a dream of greater life fulfillment to keep marching t…

The part of the equation youre failing to grasp is dudes are supposed to date AFTER their transformation into a high value man, which is supposedly obtainable for the vast majority of men through hard work. I do have sympathy for your argument that low confidence is a self fulfilling prophecy, but that low confidence only effects men who read RP theory, believe it and yet take no action to better themselves.

I do get where you’re coming from OP but the other end of this curve is super brusque and businesslike interviewing and vetting of the other person with zero emotional engagement or availability. Some people get attached easily and wear their heart on their sleeve. In a woman, this trait can be endearing (if a bit scary). Falling for another person early used to be a good sign. I think maybe we are just living in hyper cynical materialistic times and have almost regressed back to marriage 1.0 wh…

If your wife says no to sex, but you manipulate, or flirt, your way into it, you're disrespecting her decision. If you instead use it to get her into the mood before the point of consent (which is usually the invasive parts; removing clothes, making out, getting on her, ect.) you're not disrespecting her, you're taking small steps to get her in the mood (with the understanding that a good partner will stop if she clearly isn't reciprocating and doesn't want to be in the mood.). There is a ridicu…

Nothing is OK morally anymore. No matter what you do in life - lie flat, chase girls, lead the relationship, dont lead - there is an aggrieved group that is not ok with it.

The reverse tactic is common too. “Im independent and dont need a man to tell me what to do or lead, i can make my own money, im a girl boss” Five years later “I need you to step up financially and lead the family so i can stay home with the kids, why cant you be more like the entrepreneurial male i follow on instagram”

Ozempic solves this. Staying thin was never supposed to be this hard anyway, but corporations gradually increase the fat and sugar count in everything to get us hooked on them and exploit human neurological tendencies, you cant buy a fuckin loaf of bread without ten cups of sugar in it.

The same can be true for emotional connection. Avoidant personality has an advantage over insecure attachment style. Basically if you don’t want your goose to be completely “cooked” as the youngins say, then you must never need the other person more than they need you. I think humanity evolved in a time when women needed much more from men - protection, providing etc. Nowadays the government provides all those functions so women have an innate advantage.

It gets even worse when you understand the “reward” for being a good person is maintaining an LTR… where the women gives less sex in exchange for increasing demands and complaints.

Solid analysis. Whats sad for me is the realization that the supposedly wholesome transactions arent actually better. For instance, wanting someone to change their personality in exchange for your love is more harmful than wanting them to give you more money in exchange for sex. The more precious the commodity involved in the transaction, the harsher the transaction.

Sexist yes, abolished no. Why do people think they should legislate away all parts of life that are unfair?

It goes like this low end of iq bell curve: it doesnt matter if you get attention from women or not, Just Be Yourself Mid iq curve: getting attention from women makes you more confident, which makes you more attractive to women, which makes you get more attention from women, which… High end of iq curve: BELIEVING it doesnt matter in spite of any and all evidence to the contrary makes you most confident of all. The triumph of the will.

If you pay as the man, then you’re abusing them to your benefit. Women will subconsciously perceive you as a better mating candidate if you do this even if consciously they don’t want to contribute to a gendered dynamic.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
