Im starting to see that there are rarely any worthwhile "hard & fast rules" that apply to nearly every girl. You really just need to take in on a case by case basis. So the "never" and the "always" rules should be taken with a grain of salt

So that example seems a bit extreme so I'm curious as to how you might react to a guy who was a million times more polite (and didn't approach you when you're busy as hell) but was not perfectly smooth either (ie nervous) but still managed to have an decent conversation with you (while clearly indicating interest).
