You should never have to fucking perform. That's inauthentic and manipulative. You SHOULD be honest, loving, caring, if that's what naturally comes out of you, if not, you should probably find someone else.

Wow, thanks man, that was eye-opening. I realized how much I go after "the goal" of hooking up, sex, a date, etc. and don't actually enjoy the interaction because of it. The interaction probably would go better if I lived in the moment too.

Dude. This is beautiful. I call it non-attachment and it makes every interaction, every relationship, incredible because instead of seeing a person as "that person you need to make you feel good" you see them as they truly are and every second you spend with them is like an unexpected gift.

If you literally stare at them in the eyes for 30 seconds without looking away or saying anything, they are going to be creeped out. You haven't built any comfort or trust with them, so to them you are probably going to be just some stranger who won't stop staring at them.
