Collectively it is a sickness. 11yo old boys are streaming hours worth of violent porn before they have even held hands with a girl. It is absolutely effecting how they view consent, body imagine and relationships. If I was a teenage girl, I would avoid boys like the plague. Imagine knowing this and hearing boys talk about it?

I'm exemplifying how shitty marriages impact parents mental health, and therefore parenting.

I'm saying the shitty marriage caused mental health issues for her, and leaving that shitty marriage made her better.

No, you are not reading that correctly.

No one is saying that it is 'by default'. We're saying it's a last resort when a marriage is unfixable.

A marriage involves two people. You can put as much effort into the marriage as you want, but you can't force the other person to do the same. Dad wanted to cheat and get pissed every weekend, she couldn't change that.

She should have divorced him earlier. Dragging out that shitty marriage was awful for everyone involved.

The reason these parents get divorced is because being around the other person makes them unhappy. So splitting up and staying in the same house isnt going to solve anything, in fact it will exacerbate things. Not only that, but no one can feign being a happy couple in front of the children all the time

Ive seen couples stick it out with the kids, staying calm and collected, and splitting up But that's the point, in most cases they are divorcing because they can't stay 'calm and collected' with each other.

No one is saying it should be done willy nilly, and most parents that divorce should try to make things work beforehand. But unfortunately some things can't be fixed.

I am saying that people that cant separate amicably will divorce horribly for years to come. No one is saying otherwise, of course divorce causes problems. The point in divorce is minamalising the adversity the relationship causes.

People can and do divorce amicably, or at least not involve the children in the drama. They can also meet other people and have salubrious relationships that the children can model. That's not to mention the impact a miserable marriage has on parents mental health, and how that poor mental health impacts childrens mental health.

My Mums entire personality changed when she left my Dad. She went from constantly shouting and hitting us to being calm and happy. We had much less money after the break up, but we were much happier.

They didnt say that, so there was no need for the sarcasm.

Theres plenty of research that shows that depression and poor mental health effects childrens wellbeing. Staying in unhappy marriages/relationships cause these problems.

100% thats why they say we're 'easy' (short hand for easy access). As if women dont desire casual sex and actively seek it out with particular men.

Gay men are as equally less enthusiastic about dating them and they are often not welcome in their spaces.

Ask actual fathers if they would leave their child if they found out that child was not biologically theirs, You will get a completely different answer.

I don't think the article said they married men that didn't make them finish?

Very depressing indeed. I suppose we all compromise when choosing partners, and these women prioritise many other things above sex. I think if they prioritised sex more they would be a lot happier.

Wtf happened to the red pill. TRP used to laugh at men who had to leverage money for sex and call them 'beta'. Now the movement is entirely focused on earning money and getting goldigger wives and gfs.

I also want to point out that when women 'gas each other up' en masse- they are doing it from their perspective, not the perspective of the male gaze. A lot of people on here think women are being duplicitous by calling non conventually attractive women 'beautiful'. We are not saying to this person 'you are conventually attractive to straight men and are in the top percentile of looks'. They are simply saying 'you look great and you should feel great'. It's so hard constantly fretting about your…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 11:46 AM

Yeah. They're generally very switched on when it comes to a lot of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 06:58 AM

Again, youre talking about how he acts and thats not dependant on the structure of his friend group.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 10:03 PM

Well yeah, of he's never had a girlfriend obviously there's a reason for that. Doesn't matter what his friend group looks like.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 09:32 PM

When male friend hits on a female friend, they rarely actually stay friends. Not all they're politely indifferent for a short while and then eventually drift apart. Not many people stay friends when there's romantic history or romantic rejection. It's just too awkward and wierd.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 07:21 PM

I don't see it that way at all. If he's got female friends and acquaintances I assume that he's not thirsty and has options with other women outside his friend group. I also take comfort that he's been prevetted. When a woman rejects a male friend romantically, they very rarely stay friends. They're normally politely indifferent for a short while and then gradually drift a part.

Gen Z seem way less likely to date older than us millenials did.

Young women are bombarded by men complaining about OLD and not getting sex on a regular basis. Inc*l rhetoric is now on every corner of the Internet. Even if you go somewhere completely unrelated
