"Rhetorical question"

Very good chance she likes you enough to not want to hurt your feelings but not enough to want a relationship. You could chalk the first reply to nerves but the second is fairly clear. I wouldn't get your hopes up, just be polite about it and move on.

She was probably, "I know we kissed and you're a great guy but I don't think I'm ready for anything, I'm sorry. I think we should be friends" and he was politely firm and said "I like you, and from that position I can't just be your friend. Here's looking at you kid. ;)" then off into the sunset.

Ah it makes sense now, I could have totally sworn I saw the greater than the wrong way when I saw your comment the first time. Completely agree with you now

'No More Mr Nice Guy' is a good read and has great suggestions for eliminating the behavior. I'd recommend it

Did you actually call her a "fucking cutie"? How long did the conversation die after that?

They do! and if you can turn every person into a unique and interesting story rather than a stranger then you wont even need to try to seem interested :D Ask about whatever; their opinions is a strong conversation piece (careful it doesn't turn into an argument) but it should follow a neutral conversation, such as "Pats are getting their ass handed to them this game, (back-and-forth comments about football) what do you think about such and such this year?" etc. Cold Read statements are just gut …

Usually the easiest way is to not think too much about it. Keep a situational awareness and if you see an opportunity, strike up a conversation about something around you two. But that's not always easy. aAfter that I usually try to talk about the other person, mix up questions with cold read statements and just try to read the persons face, see if they are interested in talking.

I think we are in the same league friend, we just got to keep at it. Thanks for reading, and the best of luck to you too!

None taken, I'm not a very good at writing. I'll work on it. Its probably my excessive use of comma's.

It's not easy, even with luck on your side. I'm the proud owner of vibrant blue eyes mixed with a dark complexion that really makes them shine in just the right light. 21 years of practice and I still don't know how to use them correctly! But eye contact is key (not only for the obvious reasons, but to read their faces and draw their eyes in towards yours). A subtle squint at the things she says, a thousand yard stare (only when appropriate), the "triangle" - moving your attention from 1 eye to …

You can't keep a woman, just like she can't keep you. Edit: You are the best!

How far into the post did you read before commenting? You make sure you are being the authentic you, and you live your life confidently. You can't change that shit, so don't worry about it. After the first paragraph, the author goes on to quite clearly (still having trouble understanding how you missed this) state that women have differing tastes, and ugly to one person does not mean ugly to another. Its entirely subjective, which I think is beautiful in of itself! Actually, just an hour ago I w…

Because every situation is different, if you want a step by step "dont be creative" process then you will fail 50% of the time.

Be Yourself. Not you as you are, but you as you want yourself to be.
