When the relationship was new we did do 2-3 times a day. Whenever I get a new girl it’s 2-3 times a day.

I agree with mostly everything you said above. I bought the book. I will disagree that I feel panicky about losing her, honestly if she came to me tomorrow and said she wanted to move out and take a break I would be slightly relieved. My problem is keeping someone that I’m living with behaving and not being an additional energy/emotional dump. I’m a low 20s guy living in a tech city where it’s normal for people to pay 60-70% of their income on their rent. I could live outside the city and drive …

Cue sad faces, borderline tears, acting weird all day, asking me if I think she’s ugly, asking me if I’m getting off somewhere else, pestering/interrupting me while I’m working until I tell her to leave me alone, which only takes her skulking up a notch

Cohabitating was pre-TRP. Due to Covid I bring in 90% of our income (pre-covid we split EVERYTHING 50/50) Even before that I made more than her, I’m not a baller but I’m doing well for my age.

I mean yeah, I own guns/other weapons, but I’m not gonna draw it and incite a panic, guaranteed way to ruin the party and keep anybody from ever coming back.

Not a bad plan... people probably wouldn’t question it, they’d assume he had it coming anyway. I’ll run down the stairs to be the first one to give him aid, and after taking his remaining coke I’ll ever so gently and carefully roll him off my deck into the grass. People will forget and I can go back to being the tallest guy at the party. Win win.

Young guy, never had to do that before, how would you handle kicking and aggressive someone out without starting a fight? Would appreciate the insight

She sat idly by on the couch while he flirted with other women in front of her, he wore the pants of their dynamic. As nice of a solution as a cheap shot sounds, I have a solid career that the legalities of a cheap shot charge could destroy.

Wouldn’t make the stretch of calling him “alpha”, he came with the heaviest, least attractive girl in the room and made everyone dislike him. Also, it was my place, and people were coming to me and telling me that he was making them uncomfortable, doing nothing doesn’t really seem like an ideal solution.

By “looks” I mean side glances or eye contact like “oh, he’s cute”. Girls who aren’t even on the market or are married with kids do that. A lot of the time just to see if you do it back. An approach is an obvious IOI and is another matter. I’m not saying DONT be shirtless, I’m saying don’t be shirtless with sole intention of getting validation. That’s usually obvious and even if it’s not, it’s an unhealthy habit. If you’re at the beach or a rave, your shirt is naturally going to be off, and who …

Depends on the setting. As a general rule, looking for/craving external validation is cringey, and double that when it’s purely superficial validation based on your appearance. Girls have a great sense for telling when you’re doing something for external validation based on body language, because that’s what they do 24/7. Lots of them will purposely not look if they get a whiff of that. Random looks from girls who you will never talk to? Nah. Looks mean nothing and usually lead to nothing. If it…

She’s 28 fucking a 19 year old? That’s uncommon. Why would she choose a teenager over a guy her age with a job/education/house/wealth?

First of all, if YOU like doing that or think it would look cool, fuck anyone who says it’s “beta” or not manly. Guys in bands do it and they fuck like crazy. Secondly, be cautious it’s not just her attempting to break your frame by getting you to do something feminine, and it’s legitimately just for fun. If she tries to parade you around or embarrass you, it’s likely the first.
/r/askTRP10/12/20 10:55 PM

Nah, it’s FAR more manipulative to tell you NOT to tell him. He has a right to know. If anything, you exposed her as the manipulative one. You “trying to break them up” is a teenage girl level excuse. I’m betting she’s a teenage girl. She’s not stupid, she knows exactly what happened and exactly what she’s doing.

I’m over it so don’t just scream beta at me. Not gonna scream beta, but if you were completely over it you wouldn’t be here asking for statistical odds. IMO, it’s okay to not be totally over it, nobodies perfect and it’s an awkward situation. I honestly don’t even know what advice to give you. Should have told your friend immediately so it didn’t look like a conspiracy, but why is he scooping up your side pieces? Is the town that small? She likely blocked you to pacify your friend who probably s…

No, you don’t have to know violence. First, for your friends, learn the line between joking and actually asserting dominance/bullying. If they aren’t assholes they will probably be joking 90% of the time, but in almost all friends groups there will be times where the pecking order is shown. A good rule of thumb to tell if someone is joking or not is to do it back to them. If they get mad, they weren’t joking. Rules Never get mad, no matter what. Whoever gets mad first loses. Treat it with amused…

This is the right answer, and IMO the answer for whenever someone asks about asking out someone they see frequently. Just flirt, but don’t go for it unless she makes it obvious. If she really likes you she will. Otherwise, not worth the awkwardness.

What you’re saying makes sense, but the issue is I’m not there 19/20 nights, so checking her phone once a month kind of gives me reassurance, and I figure if she’s lazy about hiding it it would be a quick breakup. But you’re right, it’s not a good look.

She asked me if I wanted her to stop and I said if she’s just picking something up I didn’t care. I’ve never been the mate-guarding type, I figure I’ll let them do what they want but if they cheat it’s over on the spot and I’ll find someone new.

Watch funny videos. Mediate. Practice looking at things that happen to you through a positive, funny filter instead of a negative “woe is me, life sucks” filter. No matter how fucked up or irritating, really try your best to look at events through a humorous lens, even at your own expense. Others get ADDICTED to someone who can treat the ups and downs of life with that cool positive humor.

Stop playing so many video games, Stop talking about niche nerdy interests that only you care about (at least to non-nerds) Go do interesting things Learn to be funnier and develop a sense of humor at life Stop self identifying as an “intellectual” if you’re doing that, just because you’re book-smart doesn’t mean you need to make it your identity, and it’s cringey. Most self proclaimed intellectuals aren’t.

Pack it up guys, 17 year old says TRP ruined his relationship while he simultaneously refuses to have sex. Let’s see if he figures out the sham before he gets hit with the starfish on his wedding night.

TRP isnt going to work if your aren’t having sex. Use your free time you aren’t guilt-masterbating to research the indoctrination methods your parents and preacher used on you, and the fact that if a god exists anyone who says “you have to talk to me to talk to him” is a liar.

How do you handle women who are immersed in the gang/trap world What? Don’t hang out with stupid people. 9/10 someone in a gang is stupid or raised with too much baggage to be a productive person. What's the best way to handle situations Depends on the situation Ie. Mate guarding Read the side bar, and depends on the situation and those involved, the setting, the history ect.

Depends on the woman. If she’s really into you she will drop them if you ask her too though. That being said, I feel it’s still very common for them to maintain a friendly relationship with group of men from work, school, ect. Texting/commenting on each others posts every once in a while. Some might be backups, some might be genuine friends. I’m still split on the “genuine friend” part, if it’s not a childhood friend I always just kind of see them as lions in wait, standing a respectful distance…

You’re right, and lately I’ve been dedicating more free time towards schooling, however as a dopamine/internet addict it’s been a struggle. My friends, YouTube, games, Reddit, are all just a click away. I’ve been looking into the “have a mission” adage however I don’t know how to translate that to my schooling, no matter how I look at it it boils down to a task I don’t want to do but force myself to do out of necessity.

Good fucking luck. I tried that once, with my absolute BEST FRIEND. He agreed with me over the phone, but as soon as we hung up he just told his GF everything I said about her and then she talked shit about me to all our mutual contacts. Gave up on him for a while after that. Fast forward 6 months and she got bored of him, tried to let him go softly but it turned into raging oneitis, he didn’t want to let go, was texting her that he loved her daily while she was with new dudes.

Cold DMing is almost completely a waste of time. If she’s cute she will have hundreds. Your friend should lay the groundwork and let her know that he thinks you guys might enjoy talking. Referrals are fantastic, cold DMing is not. If he doesn’t want to do that that’s cool, but then I wouldn’t waste my time.

Cuddly with other dudes? In front of a dude she’s interested in, aka me? No way. That’s obviously a no-no. What if you put your arm around a female “friend” that you brought with you, what would she think? You’re not alone, that would be a deal breaker for me. This is only a problem for YOU if it bothers you too much.

Yep, that’s a big part of it, we work close together sometimes and I know if I start being abrasive when we aren’t doing a task he will start being abrasive when we are. Passive aggressive tattle tale liar type.

I think that it was weird of her to move her head to another guys shoulder while your hand is still on her thigh. Maybe it was a shit test. Maybe she was giving her orbiter some attention too so he wouldn’t bitch later. Maybe she wanted a threesome. Either way, I would have left too if she didn’t give me any other signals because those are really mixed and annoying either way.

I thought I would be good enough for just being me. I hate when people say this. “You” is a changeable, malleable concept that for 9/10 guys probably NEEDS some change. Imagine a 300lb women using that line to complain about dudes not fucking her, what would you think? Learning to provide value to friends can be difficult, especially if you are starting from 0 or from a place of stagnation and depression. It can also be very hard if not impossible based on your area, job, ect. Some dudes are ass…

Pickup some hobbies and get a better job, but you knew that. It’s just hard so you’re beating around the bush. I’m not too fussed about having a career or being a high value male with loads of friends Guessing you meant not too fussed about “not” having a career and not having loads of friends. Well, then accept that your results with women will be extremely limited.
