That's not what I said. While I disagree with the "stop sexualizing the female body" thing, humans are not sexual objects. Sexual yes, but not objects. There's much more beyond the sexual side of us.

While I agree, I think that's sexualization. At least that's how I see it. I don't know if the words are interchangeable, but I see sexualization as what you described, but objectification as seeing them and being interested in them not as people, but as "objects" that are purely for sexual purposes. I get what you mean. I'm not against it if it is well regulated. It should be treated the same way as sick leave, but it isn't. It's just giving women free leave even if they are not really sick. I'm completely for allowing women like you, who need it, to get paid menstrual leave. But it should be regulated to not allow women to lie to just not go to work for 12 days a year.

Maybe I didn't express myself very well, so let me put it another way. Both men and women already get sick leave. What they can't do is say "Hey, you have these many sick days, use them and we will not care if you're telling the truth or not".

The fact that you need to get a doctor's certificate will discourage most of them from lying. Because to do so they would have to go to a doctor and lie to get the certificate. And the fact that the doctor can't really verify it doesn't mean it holds no value.

Hurting women? Should I remind you that if a woman takes fake menstrual leave, both men AND WOMEN who are still working get her part of the work? Hurting women for not wanting them to be able to lie to their employers to get paid leave? I just think the medic's certificate should be required for a relatively long sick leave. And do you have any idea how society works? Do you think you can just give free paid leave to everyone? No, not for men, not for women.

Ok? And the fact that there are people dying is supposed to invalidate the obvious problem? It's like saying "people are being raped, but others are dying and that's worse, so please stop complaining". It makes no sense A woman doesn't feel like working, so she takes menstruation leave. Her part of the work is pushed to those, men and women, who are still working. So yeah, it's not fair. I think it's fine as long as they get a doctor's certificate, as they should.

It's mainly the fact that this seems very poorly made. In addition to that error with the %, 0.04% is 0.0004 in 1, which is 1 in 2500, not 1 in 250. I can agree if this is meant for women with severe problems with menstruation, but that was probably already a thing. If this means every menstruating woman gets paid leave, then hell no. Work from home maybe, not paid leave. I'm not really informed about this, so I don't know which case it is.

Yeah, I can agree with everything except for that last paragraph. Yes, he's blaming the fact that he didn't teach his daughters how to cook on not following gender roles. Have you even read the comment section? There are more people here calling out the moderate sexism in OP's views than in the most misandric post in a feminist subreddit. I call it moderate sexism for lack of a better term for comparing it to the sexism in the average feminist post. I guess because everyone they disagree with gets banned, maybe that's why I don't see anyone calling them out. That doesn't happen here, that's why you see the bad and the good, instead of just the bad.

While I agree with your views on modern feminism, I disagree with your views on women. Women are not meant to serve men. I'm guessing that's an influence from your home, but that's not really how it is. No sex is meant to serve the other, no sex is better that the other.
