I’m an older guy. I can tell you men DO hit the wall. They let themselves go physically. They often get off the fashion train sometime in their 30’s. I can’t tell you how many “jorts”I’ve seen. But most men are blue pilled. Most men aren’t willing to do the work necessary. But these aren’t typically the men on this sub.

Fedoras. They’ll likely to bore a woman to death. Man buns. They’re far too Left. Fashy haircuts. They’re far too Right. Tbh, a guy who spends too much time on his physique. He’ll prioritize the gym, not you. I fall under the latter. Up at four to practice forms, then run. Gym after work.

Sure it does. But it’s a horrible way to go through life. If you embrace it, more power to you.

OP, it seems as if you’ve discovered the black pill. It’s really just nihilism repackaged for the current century. You really have to ask yourself if you want to live by that philosophy. No judgement, you do you. But if you don’t, there’s all kinds of people willing to help you out. But unless you make that decision, no one will be able to convince you otherwise.

I always thought I was older than most on this sub. Now I have confirmation. Gen X here, officially over 50. I’m active in r/DatingOverFifty. Yes, we geezers date. I know my experience doesn’t necessarily reflect reality. Though many have left the dating scene altogether, it seems as if more women at this age are seeking as opposed to men. Sex is still on the table. We’re older, not dead. Most are fatter and/or balder. It’s rare to find someone who’s actually fit. Catfishing is even more common.…

I’m comfortable and over 6’ , and I agree with you. Every man has to ‘leverage their position’ a little. In general, people of both sexes are going to disagree with you though. It’s just not socially acceptable to have an age gap. No one will admit it, but they’ll always think guys should date an age equivalent woman +/- 5 years. It’s just how the culture is wired. Stop trying to convince these others of the righteousness of your ideas. Just implement them and roll.

I was in the Army for a long time, so I have zero problems with strip clubs. They’re ubiquitous around military posts worldwide. When I was a young man I went often. Though you tend to grow out of it. Personally, I don’t believe in handing over hard worked for money just bc I got to see someone naked. I’ve dated two strippers. Soldiers and strippers kinda go together. What do I think about people who frequent a club frequently? A lot of Reddit posters seem to think they’re incels. I find that to…

Ah, I see what you mean now. I don’t think women are all Machiavellian monsters who plot things to the Nth degree. Sure, some post epiphany women infiltrate the church or cling to traditional beliefs to find “good men”. That’s their concern, and many will be successful. I don’t think the RP is a placebo. But I do think a lot of RPers only use the parts they like. It’s a way for many men to wag their fingers at women. The RP works. It’s not necessary to know why. It is really self improvement by …

RP isn’t for everyone. Most guys, even if they’re redpilled, won’t or can’t live up to it. Most people are very comfortable with their blindfolds on. But more “normies” are waking up to some basic truths. It’s the reason why marriage rates are so low. There is little a man receives from being in a marriage that he can get without being in one. But he can lose quite a bit. Teaching RP to women probably wouldn’t result in the type of world you envisage. Women who want to work would. Roving gangs o…

I have. Sometimes I knew before. Sometimes I found out later. Never had much guilt about it. Don’t have guilt about it now. The way I look at it now is that it’s simply not worth the drama. I’ve had jealous husbands /bfs come at me. I don’t like to use violence, but it’s a skill I’ve worked at since childhood. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. But why am I fighting this guy over faults in his relationship? Not my problem.

Age gaps are a bigger deal in society when one person is much younger. 18 and 30? BIG deal. 38 and 50? NOT a big deal. You’re never going to get society at large approving that age gap. Yup, younger people are generally more physically attractive. But they’re basically children. They’re going to change soooo much in the coming years. Im pretty certain 18 yo me wouldn’t even like the man I am today. Just don’t, if you want other people to see you as “normal”.

The best advice I got was from a gay uncle. He stressed the importance of looks. He told me that there’s absolutely no excuse for a young man to be out of shape. None. That you don’t have to be the most fashionable guy, but that you have to wear clothes that actually fit. He told me to learn how to dance. He said women of all ages, whether they admit it or not, appreciate a man who can dance. Other than that, my parents told me absolutely nothing.

I think it will effect all sorts of Western life, not merely dating. In the short term, it’s all golden for men who attend(ed) university. College educated women most often seek college educated men. Since most men want to have s*x with as many women ( or guys, your tastes really don’t matter ) as they can, that small amount of men probably won’t commit. A man is only as faithful as his options; those men will have plenty. Politically, it’s a truly bad idea for 1000’s of military aged men to be …

If we’re talking cold approach, I strike up conversation with cute women, but rarely gorgeous ones. I’d say probably 5. I don’t trust OLD pics. Too many tricks with lighting and angles. I’d rate myself a 5 out of the shower. Hey, I’m “cute”! Yes. Cold approaches work, but it’s like sales. You hear no a lot more often than yes.

Wow, lots of tangents. I’ve been in both situations. I’ve had one morph into the other. Tbh, it’s better to be the former. I’ve dated where I often heard “You’d be perfect if you only did x.” Now, I fall more into the former category. I’m not willing to give beyond a certain point. I don’t think you should put anyones needs above your own. It’s like “Nah. This is what attracted you in the first place.” Guess I’ve become the d*ck. It’s much better here.

Only half true. A rich man ( someone making twice the national average really is rich ) will date a broke woman who only makes $25k. But yes, you ARE right about not being interested in a woman not pulling her weight. It all depends on the definition of pulling your weight is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
