In response to your question, never. I worked exclusively with car companies from 2000 to 2010. Who was the one that always got lost on trips, the one that needed rescuing from the side of the road, who dropped the grocery bags and so on. The man. Even not, watch a Ford commercial and see the female presence driving the product placements. Even the tagline of the song...This is My Fight Song...sung by Rachel Platten. Just listing to that song make me want to ovulate.

This one made my blood boil. I worked in advertising for about 20 years. And I know how this script was approved. A conference room filled with female account an female creative managers...purposely trying to satisfy a female client. And you know they reluctantly put a gratuitous male in the video. Purposefully this spot was made with females in mind only. Shameful. This is one of the reason we called them AdverChicks, because they believed their ideas were superior. During the custody hearing (and she was giving custody willingly), the caseworkers and judge kept urging her to reconsider. She actually had to tell the court, "My son is better off with his father." Even then, the judge was reluctant, because in his own words, "A child with a father is a 'ship lost at sea." That said, support and other obligations in Michigan are always and clearly biased against the father.

My son's mother used it for tattoos for herself. I was unemployed and paying $375 a month. I've had custody for the past 10 years (he's 13). She is unemployed and only has to pay $63 a month (different calculation for women). I feel guilty if I toss a pack of gum in the shopping cart when I spend the money on food for us.

Aww...thank you :-) I did think about Australia, but it was a cost issue. Because I can't find many jobs that allow me to work from home (I can't afford a nanny for my son), I'm pretty dirt poor. But I won't be far away. SE Asia is where we are heading. Different culture there. Different values too.

Thanks for the hugs. Sadly, our solution is to move out of the US. Besides the fact that we have no family here, there are other countries don't view myself (as a single dad) and William because of his cognitive impairment as defective goods. One more year of middle school, for him and we're outta here.

This has happened before, and sadly, will happen again. If the court feels that the man in question, is proven to be or have been a "father-figure" for the child, they will award support. A DNA-based relationship is not required anymore. Sorry, don't have a direct source, but these stories have been in the news.
