The fact that loss prevention guy didn't differentiate because they were women. i can see that point. but it could also be argued that he wouldnt have gotten that physical with a man his own size, so her gender was actually not a perk here at all

But why should anyone in loss prevention have an emotional involvement? If they walk away and you're not allowed to touch them because of company policy, you still don't lose anything. The company does. I can understand being upset at people breaking the law and being dicks, but wishing to be able to run up and tackle someone means you don't need to be in that kind of position.
