I agree with your analysis, and I'm glad this is being discussed, but I try to address this problem from a different approach. Anyway, all those foolish enough to try run a small business with a politicised business model will quickly discover the folly of their ideology. Doesn't Paul actually recommend that young widows should remarry, rather than becoming perennial recipients of church charity? You know what, with Ruth, it's often those "Moabite" women (secular females, non Christians) who understand this better than inside the Church. Goes to show the influencing female for females needs to be someone RP'd. You have raised an interesting point. Paul makes this same point in Titus 2:3-5 and says aged women should be teaching the younger women. Nowadays we see the feminized clerics, blowing smoke up the arse of the young women, telling them how awesome they are.

I suspect widows were discouraged for priests because of the inheritance issues it created with the children from the new marriage and how that affected a genetic priesthood. This would absolutely not apply to Christians, who are encouraged to care for widows up to and including marriage. Thanks for the comments guys. Jesus said; "whoso marries a divorced woman commits adultery". This truth is denied in most protestant churches, but there is no exception to this rule. The 'exception clause' in Matthew's gospel is for men only, the concession Moses gave in Debt.24 is also form men only. It is always safe to say; whoso marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

In short, I believe the biblical attitude is merely to say: Culture's going to do what culture's going to do. Let's not let the church get mixed up in it. Let's keep pulling people into the church. While I agree with the above sentiment, I would like to point out that most churches are so feminised that increasing the size of the church will only exacerbate the problem.

My intention is not so much political, but rather to raise awareness amongst christians that God's order is usurped when women are allowed into positions they shouldn't have [i.e. voting, teaching]. I don't know much about the Amish, but I have in the past had fellowship with the Hutterites. They are similar to the Amish. The Hutterites live in a commune style patriarchal society. I'm guessing the Amish are similar. My point is that western churches are mostly feminised and there is little or no impetus to address this problem. In fact these churches like to pretend the problem doesn't exist.

There are many passages in the Bible that show the patriarchal model for humanity. Lets start with Adam and Eve. Adam was created to serve the purposes of God. Eve was created to serve Adam. That period of time 1913-1920 was a pivotal time for the western world. Because not only did women get the vote, but the Federal Reserve System also began. Both these factors shaped the mess we are in today. Now we have fake money, fake politicians, fake churches, fake news, and the list goes on. Although these problems have always existed, now they have become government policy. It all plays into the push for world government.
