Girls aren't binary. They can like you a certain amount and give you a certain amount of compliance. Giving you a number/IG is a little bit of compliance. She doesn't hate you at least. Going on a date also shows you she likes you a little bit. They work like a volume knob, not an on off switch.

This will fail almost always. You forgot the meat of the sandwich and went from open to close immediately. There's no reason for her to give you her number. She doesn't know who you are and you don't know who she is. You need at absolute minimum two more senescence in there and even then you gonna need to be one lucky motherfucker to get anything out of that.

Women put themselves out there for men they like. Yes, I know, girls will even block my path sometimes... that's still not the same thing. Or act like a woman and stay single. Because it’s rare when a woman will actually go and ask you out. I know what to do and how to do it. That isn't the issue. The issue is how to make it fair. The only answer seems to be to require more of them.

You’re falling for propaganda if you think you need to ho around. You don’t. The more people sleep around the higher divorce rates have become. Nope, that's not what I said. You just imagined it. Anyways, your problem is you want them to deliberately want them to say “imaginary-citron-629 will you go out with me?” Yes, absolutely. I’m telling you right now, you’re watching or you’ve watched too much porn. I don't watch porn at all. Women are not like that in real life. They show you interest by …

There’s no need to sleep around and there’s no need to be in a hurry to find a wife. That part isn't true. Some of us aren't as young anymore. I'm listening to you about the rest though. I mean I think what you're saying is right in the sense that it'd help me feel better, but they still don't do as much. Co workers are always on my ass because I never chase women who have shown interest in me I.e, give me discounts when they don’t give discounts to anyone else, brought me food after I literally…

and taking into account how to safely meet and interact with you. She doesn't do that. The man does logistics, considering her feelings.

So do you acknowledge this suffering they have as work being put into dating or not? No, definitely not. It has nothing to do with me. I'm not responsible for it. As I said, I shouldn't be penalize for something I didn't cause. I know it isn't your fault, but we're currently only arguing if this contributes to the effort they have to put in. No, it contributes nothing to our relationship or dating. It does not move anything forward. What I do moves everything forward. And just because you grew u…

t’s like you’re complaining about sex. The guy has to do all the thrusting and exercise most of the time! Yes, I do complain about that, just the same. The man has to do all the work there too. We both get pleasure, but I do almost all of the work.

I think it'll be mostly through better understanding of women's experiences and feelings, and then also skill issue on dating. That's definitely not the solution though. I grew up steeped in feminism, had female friends all of my life. None of that changes anything I said though. They simply don't put as much work in as I do, and whatever else they suffer isn't my fault and I should not be paying for it, especially where I live where they in fact have advantages now. For the understanding side, …

Who says you have to do what others say? In a free country people do what they want even if others might criticize, if someone criticizes you for your choices then that person who judges or criticizes does not belong in your life. Social norms are enforced brutally. Also, every individual woman is on board with it, so distinguishing between collective and individual is pointless in this case, at least where I live.

I do understand this but I don't see how it changes anything. It's still not fair and not rewarded. She is rewarded by having someone who supports her during all of that. What do I get? Nothing that she doesn't get.

... they get sex with me? So how is that the reward. Sex is an equal exchange, not a reward for my hard work. They need to have something else to offer.

Being one of those rare guys with a readily available roster of women who want to sleep with you is the reward for the work. It's not though. She gets the same reward. She gets to sleep with me. Why do you seem so resentful? Man, I've explained a bunch.

Thanks, this was really solid. I'm getting a lot of support for my idea that I just need to be more supportive and stop investing in people that clearly aren't interested or good enough.

This is another really good comment. There are several of you now saying similar but different things and I tend to agree with this line of thinking. I'm glad I posted because these kind of perspectives are actually helpful.

Do you have any sisters--or a daughter? If you do and if you've kept your eyes open, you couldn't possibly believe "She doesn't have to do anything. She just sits there and responds to what she wants to and doesn't respond to what she doesn't."--or any of the other in-the-tall-weeds crap that makes up your rant, none of which is true: Yes, I do have a sister and yes I do think that and have pointed it out to her. Nor do you have to "be brave, get rejected a million times, do all the thinking, pa…

And yes, it certainly takes some effort to get there, but once you’re there, it’s pretty cool, no? Sure but it doesn't address the issue. They are getting me, so that's paid back for. All my initial effort is not paid back for.

No you still don’t get it. They have a MILLION times more downside that you can’t even fathom. Because you have no empathy. They are drowning in disgusting betas. No, they don't, not in Sweden. Stop being ridiculous. High level guys don’t have this problem by the way. Why aren’t you criticizing Leonardo DiCaprio? He has an even easier dating life than 99.99% of girls. Lots of guys have similar set ups but aren’t celebrities. That's not really true, is it? He still has to make the first moves.

This might be the key here. Thank you for your contribution. I haven't found a lot of those women though. Do you find a lot? Like 99.9% are not in that category. Occasionally you find them though, for sure. I think a lot of my resentment probably comes from pursuing the ones that don't show high interest instead of just cutting them off and moving on. I guess it comes from not having that many options in the first place. When I was doing Tinder, I'd get fucking nothing. Switching to sites where …

TLDR but they put in plenty of work. You have no idea how much time, thought and energy they put into looking good. It’s absurd. Men have to do the same, so this is not a counterargument. Also they’re typically much less in control. We are in a much better position to make our own success in dating and in life. This isn't true anywhere I've ever lived.

I didn't say that. I said it is not reciprocated at any point. That is the problem. You never get paid back for that work. Everything they do is already compensated, but not all the work you do in early dating.

In a relationship people contribute whatever they agree between them on an individual level. There is no rules in dating that dictate a relationship has to be 50/50, that's a preference some people have, not a legal obligation or binding mandate that everyone else has to obey against their will.. Don't confuse someone's individual preferences with universal collective obligations. This isn't true. In both cultures I come from, there is a VERY strong rule that is enforced socially. It's a norm. T…

Oh cool, so you’re having sex with lots of women currently? I assumed this was sarcastic. Seems like someone with an active roster wouldn’t feel so aggrieved. Seems like you're really passive-aggressive.

I am not doing it to get laid. I am doing it because that's what I would prefer to do. I am a romantic. I enjoy being nice. It's not rewarded though. what you want with them and if they dont like it too bad I already do.

Youre looking at things purely from your point of view and not theirs, Nope. See the OP. Theres a huge lack of empathy from both sides, partially due to misinformation and partially due to underdeveloped empathic ability. No, there's a huge lack of empathy from women. I understand their problems very well. Born in raised in feminism. For example, most men aren't aware of: Any men not aware of that live under a fucking rock. You didn’t acknowledge the real issue which is that women have a million times more to lose in a sexual encounter than you ever will. I did actually address that. I’ve had girls do crazy nice things for me over the years. Cook unexpected meals for me. Buy me tickets to cool events. Bring me gifts. Clean my apartment. Pay for my meals. Help me study. These are girls I wasn’t even exclusive with. Women are extremely dedicated to the right guy. Yes, of course. I have had all of this and more too. A…

But you basically just apply the formula and you’re having a decent amount of sex with plenty of ladies. They get to have sex with me though, so that's not really making up for the effort. What do they give me besides that to make up for it?

Choose the cities you want to live in. Enumerate all of the companies in those cities. Find the right contacts at all of those companies. Start applying for jobs at all of those companies. They will help you with your work visa. Wait a few years, then apply for citizenship.

This makes no sense. If you're having sex on the first date then you did all the work to get there while she did almost nothing. You had to develop yourself prior to the relationship (she didn't need to), you got rejected by hundreds of women (she didn't), you initiated (she didn't), you lead (she didn't), you escalated (she didn't), you ran the conversation (she didn't), you did most of the early flirting (she didn't), you planned the date (she didn't), etc, etc. On and on.

I suggest the entirety of what you “have to do” is also classified as character development, arguably the primary purpose of life. They don't have to do it to get what they want though and also no, you're wrong. Initiating, leading and escalating in dating isn't character development.

It's actually not. I understand their situation very well. My post even covers some of that. That doesn't mean they contribute any work to dating. You're just trying to dismiss what I'm saying by attacking me instead of responding to what I've said. It's an ad hominem fallacy.

So in other words, if you were a high valued/high status man (who could easily find the kind of women you want) you wouldnt be so bothered by the imbalance in the initial dating phase (but also if were the case, it wouldnt be so imbalanced to begin with). I think I made the point in my post that that wouldn't change anything. Even if you're swimming in pussy, you're still doing all the work and they're contributing nothing until the relationship point.

I think this might actually be the problem. I've been wondering about that but I haven't really had the opportunity to test it yet but I am now. I've just stopped writing to some girls who aren't showing high interest and I'm curious how they will respond. My suspicion is that they may both start chasing actually. This may be my solution. Even if it doesn't work with those two, I'm going to keep this in mind and keep experimenting. I appreciate your input. Thinking transactionally will eventuall…

Women do contribute in men's life. As much as people might make you feel like it's one sided, both need each other. They will be your teammate in life, and yes, one can always argue that we can live alone, but the experience is amplified when someone is there with you and not like your mom or dad. I covered this part early in my post. It's 50/50 within the relationship. I'm talking about dating before that: they do not contribute anything that I don't contribute and I contribute far more by doin…

Thanks for the sane response. You need to reframe. You should enjoy chasing. I do enjoy chasing, I'm just exhausted and pissed off that they're just sitting on their asses do nothing. I don't think thinking of it in terms of 'demanding more' from women is healthy. Why not? Why shouldn't they contribute equally? Why do they get a free ride?

Masculine energy is all about drive, and you should be enjoying the process. If you are horny enough none of the stress and the bullshit should matter. Haven't jerked off in a month, horny all the time. It doesn't change anything I'm saying. I do enjoy the process most of the time but it doesn't change anything i said. Had your testosterone checked lately? Yes, it's abnormally high.

I live in the EU, Scandinavia. It's not going very well. I can't find anyone local, which means I need to expend even more effort (despite 4 years of this), so that's what brings up this question for me. I feel things are extremely unfair at this point. While I'm pouring years of massive amounts of effort on this, girls are sitting on their asses doing nothing but complaining.

I don't think this is true. Women do a lot of work both in the work place and at home. Pregnancy is hard and risky. Child rearing is hard work. Back in the day they did even more work at home, really important work.
