Even people who grew up in ghettos and cities with high crime rates are suspicious of firework sounds. Just yesterday I was joking with one of my old friends to make sure the fireworks she was hearing weren’t any gunshots. Fireworks can scare even the people who grew up as peaceful as possible. For someone to have PTSD and cannot bear them must be so traumatizing. He could have sent her into a panic attack or a shock all because he wanted to have some fun with his friends. His friends could have…

You are only who you think you are. Meaning, if you think you’re confident that’s how you’ll act. If you think you’re shy, that’s how you’ll act. Sometimes we even let others tell us how to act, and like robots we follow.

He doesn’t like me. I tried asking in person, but he kinda just changed the topic. So I texted him and he said he wasn’t interested and that we aren’t a good fit. I said okay hope we could stay friends and he said, “yeah I guess.” As if he doesn’t want to even be friends. EDIT: Sucks I honestly feel like he does like me from the way he looks of me. I understand what he means by vibes now, I haven’t been feeling myself lately and I guess it’s been showing.

I hope I really didn’t. Honestly, after thinking all of this over I feel so bad. Never deeply thought about it from his perspective. Yeah, I have a feeling he still likes me now, but very iffy about me. I don’t have tickets and he always denies my invitations to hangout. Maybe being more flirtatious and direct will be better?

Yeah I didn’t want a relationship at that moment because of personal issues. I still liked him though, which is why I’m oozing back in. Are u suggesting I be very direct/explicitly flirtatious?

Wow, thinking about it I can see what you mean. What a thing it is to live in your head. Thanks man

Yeah he kinda is reserved and inexperienced. I didn’t realize I wasn’t being clear, I just figured since we’ve been pretty close (in terms of dating) in the past that it’d be obvious.

So you’re saying to do my own thing and talk to other guys?

Wym from experience? I wanna gage where you’re coming from... Also, so you’re saying to still try to talk to him?

Honestly, idek what to do now. I feel too pushy and out of my realm. Today I saw him before class and he didn’t really seem to want to talk. I even tried texting him during class to wait for me after and he said he was busy. Then after class I still waited and was all smiley saying hi, but I got the “annoyed-ish” facial expression. Almost like “again??” For most of the walk we didn’t talk. Halfway into our walk he kinda just wandered his way/ got lost in the crowd and I felt too “pushy” to look …

The whole dressing for men/attention. For one, people dress how they feel and according to their best qualities. It’s also about confidence. Girls get guys because of their aura and their approachable-ness, more than how they dress. A girl that smiles a lot or is more approachable and friendly gets more attention and actually wants it. Now, some quieter girls can also get that attention because of her aura and lack of intimidation. So his entire take on women is skewed. Also, a girl pays most at…

Nope I haven’t and we used to hang out every day. We’d get meals together, sat next to each other in class, cuddled, etc. I guess I’ll just be more flirtatious and “eager”? I don’t text him anymore though because things can be interpreted differently from text and I don’t want to seem annoying or anything. That part I’ll leave up to him...
/r/seduction17/10/19 10:51 PM

So idk if u care for an update or not and wasn’t sure how to do one w the entire chat. But, I stopped him in the dining hall sometime last week to say hi, his immediate response was to look away... like he seemed nervous, but he was on line for food (trapped lol). We locked eyes and he tries saying hi but nothing comes out...I had to leave anyways but as I was leaving he was waving. From those vibes and delayed responses I could tell he still liked me, yet today I caught him after class and we t…

Okay, yes you've made v good points with a few holes. I understand now why people misinterpret. Challenge. A girl will not chase a guy immediately in the ways guys usually do. We do it after they stop showing interest. Push/pulls happen because the guy stops giving her attention. Girls usually know when a guy is interested in her and not horny, this is a skill some guys have. They gaslight girls, butter her up. It's different from other guys because they aren't just outright horny. The players p…

hey, I think maybe you should change your title or add some context to explain that. All the guys in here just don't get it...or even are trying to LOL.

But you'd still be searching reddit on how to stop being closed minded and get a girl. Wouldn't help you much would it? Like I said, FOR THOSE THAT WANT HELP PLEASE TAKE IT.

Wow. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I want to help people that want to be helped. Guys chase, pursue, court girls. Guys provide for girls, make her feel special and protected. This goes back to old fashioned beliefs where men get on their knees to marry (nowadays sometimes it's women). Men hold doors. Men sit/stand on the further right side. Understand that concept and you will understand why the players and the funny/confident guys get girls. They make women feel special and protected. A girl will NOT c…

This is incorrect, women, like men, are people. We're not mystical creatures. We say what we want, but in relationships that is usually masked unless we are mad and want to be direct. (Of course there are outliers, some women are naturally direct-me). We just use body language to more express what we want rather than vocally. "I'm cold." could mean: I want your coat. It could also mean a girl wants to leave/go home. Now, interpreting thus means understanding her vibes as well as yours. Was she a…

This comment is v. biased, why would you NOT take advice about women from a woman? Check out my comment. I break down what she means.

A lot of people reading this and commenting seem to not understand. As a female, I get wat she means. Girls will flake unless u GIVE us a reason not to. The guy that chase, not annoyingly, will have better luck because he’s showing attraction (not too much that it’s annoying and not too little that’ll cause flaking). She’s saying step ur game up and show us you want us(in moderation of course). Looks don’t necessarily matter, because it’s about vibes and energy. Awkwardness is only cute if it’s …

LOL right before opening this notification I was gonna let bygones be bygones. I appreciate the advice, I’mma take it w a grain of salt and be casually flirtatious. If he don’t hmu, he just gonna have to watch my big ol booty from afar. Yes I been going to the gym! LOL. But seriously I’ll try it tomorrow we have class then.

Most times girls take "ignoring" as a sign of no interest or her guy losing interest. She just broke up with her boyfriend so maybe she could take it personally and feel as though he doesn't like her when really he's trying to get her attention. This could even cause her to crawl back to her boyfriend... Of course, the positive reaction though is her reaching out in confusion and/or actually liking him.

Maybe her bf is talking to her again. Maybe she’s just been busy. Also, as a girl, ignoring her could go both ways so tread lightly.

Okay...maybe it’s just ur activity online. As a woman of color, a white guy isn’t all “exotic” as other comments are saying. It’s probably just your interests and activity online that website/app algorithms pick up on. Try to figure out the general personalities and mindsets of these girls and it’ll tell you why you’re always match w them.
