Thanks. Any specific comics to listen to, or just be general?

Alright. I used to have terrible social skills and was admittedly pretty annoying. I sometimes randomly did manage to get people to like me. A lot of other people see me as an annoying and immoral asshole because of opinions I voiced. So most people see me as either a) an okay guy but not that cool or b) annoying. I want leadership positions at my school, since they look good on college applications. Problem is, all the leadership positions at school are elected. Nobody really likes me beyond a …

I know a lot of people don't like me, and it would help my ambitions to be liked by these people, so I need to break their frame of not liking me and make them like me instead.

I looked him up. Hilarious? Yes. Harsh? Also yes. Might try something a bit less harsh for now

Got any good suggestions for comedians to steal from?

Will that help me think on the spot?

Brutally as in? And what if you revealed the red pill values to him, but he rejected them?

Whatever you do, keep the startup. If you've received VC funding and have a good product, you have the chance to make a shitton of money. Even if not, it looks great on college applications. Is there a good chance of you gettin recruited by colleges for running? If so, don't drop it either.

I'm working on it- lifting, practicing game. In the meantime, why can't I pursue my ambitions?
/r/askTRP15/10/18 03:08 AM

Why not both?

True, thanks.

So everyone hating each other won't hurt us getting to state?
/r/askTRP14/10/18 11:19 PM

Thanks. The thing about mock trial, though, is that if they're performing badly, that hurts me, since we're all on the same team. But I'll try to find a way.

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm, but thanks.

It's high school. And how can I beat them without watching them and therefore knowing their weaknesses? Also, I'd love to just focus on myself and shut them all out. Problem is, all positions that look good on college applications- swim team captain, mock trial captain, student body president- are elected. Therefore, I need their respect.

I'm actually a poor scholarship kid.

everything else is whatever For most schools, yes. But 1, 2, and I all want to study at Ivies or Georgetown, and extracurricular activities are key. Be the best you can be in academics and in your clubs Already have the highest grades in my grade. As for clubs, that's exactly what I'm asking: how can I be the best at them and dominate while putting on a pretense of working with others? As for caring what they think, I can only achieve leadership positions that will look good on my resume if they…

Yeah, but that was only one part. The other part is making mock trial captain, which is more important and my primary focus.
/r/askTRP14/10/18 10:26 PM

Regardless Being captain >>>> not being captain. Unless you have another idea for how to get respect.

I already follow the advice on the sidebar- lifting and practicing game outside school. Doesn't help in school.

I mean, we're lab partners, so I kinda have to. But to answer your question: Nah, all of my friends ditched me after his trash talking. Yeah. No, all boys high school.
/r/askTRP14/10/18 08:47 PM

I can't really do that, cause we see each other in school, have many of the same classes, and our parents are friends.
/r/askTRP14/10/18 08:42 PM
1

Improve myself how? I already lift, dress well, and get good grades. And with the exception of the 2nd guy, they both are actively trying to lower my reputation. They need to be destroyed.
/r/askTRP14/10/18 08:41 PM
1

Thank you? Any advice?
/r/askTRP14/10/18 08:36 PM
1

What about the 3rd guy?
/r/askTRP14/10/18 08:29 PM
1

Not really. I actually like the 2nd guy, but hey, he's standing in my way. Why do I need to recalibrate my life?
/r/askTRP14/10/18 07:40 PM
1

How is it pointless? Being mock trial captain looks good on college applications. The first 2 are my biggest threats for that.
/r/askTRP14/10/18 07:23 PM
1

It isn't really personal, with the exception of the 3rd guy. I just want to be mock trial captain- 'improving my own shit'- and the first 2 are standing in the way of that goal.
/r/askTRP14/10/18 07:23 PM
1

Lol.
/r/askTRP14/10/18 03:25 AM
1

Does this guy still hate you?
/r/askTRP25/09/18 10:57 PM
1

Ah, okay. That is true though: whenever I hang out with a girl, they're like 'okay at 2 we'll go to my house and then we'll do this until 4, and then go swimming', lol. Anyway, do you think I should bring it up with him? I think I should just act casual, to not look like a tryhard.
/r/askTRP22/09/18 09:48 PM
1

Alright. We don't have any classes together, so we don't see each other that much. I'll say hi to him if I see him in the halls, though. I'm also probably going to post it on my story when I go next (probably next weekend) to see if he says anything.

Also, are these any sports with less cuts, other than track and tennis? Even if they are cut sports, some might be easier to get into.

What kind of stereotype does each club have?
/r/askTRP20/09/18 08:57 PM

No such thing, I'm afraid

Actually I don't know. Like I said, I'm torn.
/r/askTRP19/09/18 03:28 AM

True, true. Hmm. Do I go for it and possibly regret it, or not go for it and regret it? Idk, man. Tough choice.
/r/askTRP19/09/18 03:25 AM

Don't get me wrong, determination is a great quality. I'm just not sure if it is the right thing to do when it might lead everyone to hate and ridicule me.
/r/askTRP19/09/18 03:20 AM
1

Alright.
/r/askTRP19/09/18 03:19 AM

I mean, part of me doesn't, but part of me feels like I'll regret it later if I quit. Idk, man.

Problem is, if I do bball preseason, it's four days a week and I wouldn't have time to do newspaper until after the season (if I make it) or tryouts (if I don't).
/r/askTRP19/09/18 03:11 AM
1

So you would say school newspaper? What about debate or basketball?
/r/askTRP19/09/18 03:02 AM
1

That's the problem though: there is no backup thing. Our school has a really shitty system, where the last day to join a club is October 20, and basketball tryouts are November 1st. So basically, if I sign up for basketball, I either make it or I can't join any other clubs for the year.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
