Great response, you just summed up my marriage. Her parents live 5 minutes down the road and see them few times a week and every holiday birthday whatever. It was a huge inconvenience when we had to go see my dad on his deathbed even though I hadn’t seen him for 20 years. And we went on a ski vacation and only stopped by and saw him for an hour. Everyone had a blast. Everything was spot on.

Man I feel exactly the same. It breaks my heart that we will never be a family again. I’m losing my home and custody. I won’t have the money for a decent place for them to visit. She is doing the best to keep my boys away from me and I’m afraid they think that I’m abandoning them. They guilt me like they need a father and do everything to keep them from me. I’ve never felt so hopeless.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I quit drinking too. That was the reason I’m getting divorced. So cutting out those calories and hardly eating I probably shed alt of water weight. 20 in a month but now it’s slowed down.

Yes, I hardly had an appetite the first month. I’m just stared getting it back but I can’t spend money like I used to on it. Down 30lbs in 2 months.

People say an amicable divorce is when she gets everything she wants because the guy is desperate to get her back. Not saying there aren’t exceptions but that’s how most go.
