You're a Normalfag with worldly aspirations, he's not. Get over it. You're trying to shame a MGTOW into manning up but he has removed the indoctrination and brainwashing you still suffer from. Build what exactly? How will it aid his relaxation and comfort to work not play? OP you are going in the right direction. If you eventually grow bored of playing games, you will create something out of love and play naturally. You shouldn't force it.

I'm not a Monk for spiritual or narcissistic reasons kiwi, it's basically just feels good.
