–	As a female, this attitude makes me sick... Yes, I understand how you could see it that way... But I see it as feminism gave me my right to vote. So I am not a new age feminist... But without the beginning of feminism I would not have been close to equal.. However, you make an excellent point and perhaps I need to reconsider what I consider myself. –	As a female, this attitude makes me sick... I don't know her so I can't comment. I can say that I think education is key here... Women need to realize they are given the upper hand in many cases because they are simply women. I'd prefer people refrain from being rude to her (I know this is the Internet) but rather educate. I hate the connotation that feminism holds. I would consider myself a feminist because I believe I am equal to men. I am not better. If it wasn't for feminism I would not be allowed to vote...
