| 6 | Does homophobia affect straight males too?The degradation of one group of people by another, in every case, is tantamount to the degradation of all people. Homophobic individuals insist that queer folk are, in some way, less than human; their insistence damages their own humanity. So long as we're all living together, yes - homophobia makes my life as a mostly-hetero male much more difficult, as I imagine it does for every straight-identified male.
