8	"Fathers are not second class citizens" As if there weren't enough reasons to love Judge Judy already. Technically, she is right, but if both the parents aren't or weren't married when they had a child, certain states won't recognize the other parent as the child's parent. For example, in Texas, mothers' have all the rights when a child is born and father has none. It sucks but this happened to me, and my son's mother used it against me every step of the way.
