I'm not female, but my opinion is that women resent men because we're different, and they consider us inferior and threatening. But one of the biggest reasons has got to be that men have more power then them. Women want to be ''empowered'' (feel power, 'be' power) and they are jealous of the power males have.

This lack of accountability is probably a very important factor in what has held women back a lot through out history, and continues to do so, and may even be something which prevents women from ever advancing beyond their current state.

I don't think most women have that attitude. A lot of women do have resentment for men and think they are oppressed somehow just because they are female, but in the case of girls or women cheating and not feeling guilty about it, supporting their friends doing it and not telling the partners and so on, that is just a lack of accountability, and an attitude that anything they do is justified just because they do it, and because their feelings compel them to do it.
