How much demand is there for a German version of the Redpill eBook? While I'm not german myself (or speak Deutsch) there's probably no need to do that. It's really easy, actually: if you don't enrich yourself by learning english to enjoy the huge amount of content the english language provides for you (whatever that is: books, content on the Internet etc), you won't be stumbling on TRP. If you're a german speaker and you find it easier to read in german, grab your balls, smash them on your desk and read the Handbook in english because that will give you twice th… | /r/askTRP | 31/07/15 02:25 PM
MRM sympathetic woman reporting in to refute the red pillYou know, I would be entirely supportive if that's all it is. It's good for "us" (blech, like I care more about women than men - I don't) - but speaking for women, it would be good for us if more men took better care of themselves and cultivated better their characters. That's the whole point, crazy cat lady: nobody here is improving for you. We're all improving for ourselves. | /r/TheRedPill | 12/06/15 11:01 AM
MRM sympathetic woman reporting in to refute the red pillThe best "Tits or GTFO" I've personally read. Nice one! | /r/TheRedPill | 12/06/15 10:51 AM
[FR] Always be escalatingOf course I was aware of the environment. She was a random girl from a pub and was also giving IOIs - she even approached so that's that. | /r/TheRedPill | 06/04/15 01:56 PM
I have social anxiety. I enter fight/flight/freeze in any social encounter, especially if it involves somebody I do not like. How do I cope with this? Please do NOT follow this advice. I've had a really bad social anxiety and nowadays it's way better, I'm almost over it completely. I'm telling you to not rely on alcohol (or for that matter any drug) because it'll make you dependant on that substance to overcome your anxiety. It was the same for me: after 2 beers I was completely "cured" of the anxiety and my psychologist strongly advised me to avoid drinking alcohol because that was my crutch and heavily relying on it would end up with me bein… | /r/askTRP | 02/04/15 12:26 PM
Coding like a girlIn my country there isn't a minimum quota of female employees in a company (and even if it was, that's what the HR team is for). The law states that everybody has equal chances, bla bla, asking for a pregnancy test is illegal (yes, that is actually written in the law), but given that fact, it's easy to filter people even based on dislikes. You just add a really difficult question in your interview list and you're done. You can just ask it to females, if that's what you want, or even better, you … | /r/TheRedPill | 07/03/15 09:35 PM
Coding like a girlGood point! Code review was being handled by a develeoper's teammates. As you could easily figure it out, the main orbiter was her team leader. He will also do code review for her and he would perosnally fix any bugs. He wouldn't held her accountable because she "was new there" (~1 year after she was hired). He got so far as moving her to the desk besides him. If that doesn't scream uber-beta orbiter I don't know what does. | /r/TheRedPill | 07/03/15 06:55 AM
Coding like a girlLet me share with you my experience in the development work field. I've spent over a decade working in development and during this time I met 4-5 girls who were programming. All but one of them were average (as in somewhere between junior and senior) but they could handle the tasks thrown at them, so no comment here - they could do pretty much the same job as a male developer with similar knowledge. They would be 99% introverts and that could be seen in the team dynamics (think of a bunch of guy… | /r/TheRedPill | 07/03/15 06:14 AM
TRP in other languagesWhat I would do if I were you is the following: find if No More Mr. Nice Guy (Robert Glover) was published in your mother tongue (I saw it edited in multiple languages on Amazon, for example russian or spanish) and buy it for your friend meanwhile he reads NMMNG, push him to take some english classes, knowing english nowadays is crucial. Having that much information floating around in english makes it so much easier than any other language and getting to the point where you can "fluently underst… | /r/askTRP | 06/03/15 07:13 AM
The stop-being-boring shortcut. Go to India.Romanian born and raised here. Please don't get the feeling that you'll get a lot of "bang for your buck" in Romania, cause you won't. Even though there are cheap things here (like the internet connection - how does 1gbps for ~$15 sound to you?; taxi fares - $5-7 will get you anywhere in any big city), our society is pretty westernised. Yeah, there is such a thing as the poor part of society, yes, there are gypsies that will beg for money in the tourist areas, but that's just noise. | 9 | [Mod] On the future viability of the sub...Really short answer to the thread from a long time lurker. As I'm posting this I already have saved posts and comments from the first 1000 posts in hot and the top 1000 all time. I'll post the code tomorrow so anyone can save their copy in case of fatality. In the next couple of days I'll do the presentation part since the data (comments included) it's quite large: ~400MB. | /r/TheRedPill | 05/02/15 09:10 PM
