I don’t think most people define it as a complete lack of sex. I think it’s that she doesn’t want sex like when she was dating a bad boy, and that the options, frequency and intensity aren’t of the same magnitude. There are men who willingly make this trade. Plenty of less attractive, older, less popular men will settle for mediocre sex once or twice a week instead of no sex at all. Or they would rather a much hotter woman on their arm in public than a less attractive freak in the sheets in priv…

Is that simply the way you choose to define it? Because I’ve always thought it was simply descriptive of a relationship that was less rooted in genuine sexual attraction and was more transactional. A woman settling for a guy who is safe, stable, father material who she doesn’t really lust after. Some guys may be well aware of their status of being a safe beta, no? There are men who gladly accept the role of beta provider for a variety of reasons.

Plenty of people like Scott Galloway have posited that women are better at multitasking and they develop impulse control and self discipline sooner, making them better and more reliable students. To me, many young people in general seem to lack initiative to take on a task without extensive supervision. My husband’s nephews were intimidated by the prospect of painting a room. More importantly to the post, as said by u/Tek_Analyst, men have no problem dating women who are incompetent.

Lots to unpack here. First, your mother being a primary breadwinner in the 1970’s and 80’s makes her an outlier. Economic parity on a large scale hasn’t happened overnight and may indeed, for many reasons, never reach 100% https://www.americanprogress.org/article/breadwinning-women-are-a-lifeline-for-their-families-and-the-economy/ Second, the reason I mention history all the way back to the time of Chaucer is that 40 years for cultural shift to happen is pretty quick. Decriminalization of homos…

They rarely so blatantly admit it though.

I have a stronger resume than a fair bit of people that get jobs over me And you think as an autistic person that you interview well? Couldn’t possibly affect your ability to be a likable server? Not for nothing, you seem like you might not be the most easy going, likeable guy. A robot can bring me my food without being a sexist little jerk. Just saying. Based on your personality I would probably prefer the robot.

My favorite was a few weeks ago about how men should get automatic custody because then all his female relatives will step up and raise the kid. 😜
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 06:06 AM

Let me get this right….so she used to be a servant AND a hole, but now that she’s JUST a hole, she somehow has new found disdain for men. Did I get that right? Back when men were completely unable to take care of themselves like an adult, had no idea how to make themselves a meal, not competent to wipe a toilet seat and had no clue how to change a diaper…that made us respect men more? 🤔

Even your average frat boy Chad doesn’t have women across the campus noticing how hot he is and then immediately wanting to have sex with him. Chad still has to know how to act/ talk/ flirt. Unless he’s gay. Then he just puts his picture on Grindr. Women aren’t men. Some woman will jump you immediately ? You are in pro athlete, rock star realms and they don’t get women just because of their looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 05:42 AM

You know I think you are actually wrong. I’m a mechanical engineer and can easily see Ai doing 95% of my work. Cad already automatically does our takeoffs now, it will very easily do load calculations, run materials, print the specs and do the cost estimates. An engineer in the commercial sector’s main job will be client coordination, understanding client needs, but my job is industrial and driven mostly by code and insurance requirements. Except for site adaptations, and verifying the as built,…

https://np.reddit.com/r/regretfulparents/ It’s clearly not for everyone. Question…why is this always framed as something only women don’t want? The sexes aren’t that different in wanting or not wanting parenthood. Where are the posts saying men should be focusing on starting families?

It’s actually becoming more and more common for men to want to be desired in the exact same way as women. The way women desire strange men in porn, with spontaneous sexual desire for the pizza delivery guy. I also think it’s because men have lost the “provider and protection “ role and many have no idea where to go from there. They don’t date or socialize in high school anymore, have no idea how to flirt. The only thing they are coming up with is looksmaxing, thinking then we will want to jump t…

There is an entire subreddit WAATGM that exists solely to dunk on single moms and older women who struggle in dating. Its sole reason to be in existence is basically to laugh at the women they deem to be damaged or entitled. I mean I’m glad it still up. First amendment and all. If you want to spend your life focused on bitter hateful people, the internet is here to provide.

“Ride the short bus” is every bit as colloquial as moron. “ Ride the short bus" is an idiom used to insult someone's intelligence, implying they require special education”. It’s not literal, moron. It’s slang. Because language changes, remember?

Ableism? The same guy who calls people morons? 🪞 “ the term originated in the early 1900s as a clinical categorization used by psychologists to identify individuals with mild intellectual disabilities (specifically, adults with an IQ between 50 and 69 or a mental age between 8 and 12).”

Childhood and adolescent exposure to sexual harassment, CAESH, was very common, with over 95% of women… It’s in the first paragraph

You asked for research, not anecdote and I provided it. 95% Maybe you need to ask your friends again.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11127504/ 95% of girls experience sexual harassment. And I can testify it’s a terrifying experience.

OR subjected to inappropriate sexual behavior from a grown man when she was a child Yeah, this is actually a pretty universal experience, tbh. Generally day one after you get tits, but some pervs don’t wait that long.

I never defended misandry, nor did I imply that outlier individuals, either misogynistic or misandrist, have power to change institutions. Maybe you have confused me with another poster, are ESL or maybe you have poor reading comprehension. Individuals absolutely do have the ability to inflict real violence on other individuals though.

What exactly is a “trend”? Obviously neither misandry or misogyny is healthy for society, but one is treated more seriously. Wonder why. Random women say mean things about your entire gender that you don’t like and that you don’t think apply to you. That sucks You know what I haven’t seen? Random women committing mass murder in the name of misandry “Sexual entitlement alone has been a primary motivator for acts of terror. The ICCT has found that anti-feminist conspiracy theories are typically co…

And if men are better now, why wasn't there more complaining before? Where exactly were they going to complain? They didn’t really have much opportunity. I think it was probably common knowledge that both men and women have bitched about each other since Adam and Eve. For males in history we have Aristotle Schopenhauer, Napoleon, …… I could fill pages on famous misogynistic quotes. For women we have….oh yeah, well….like slaves, many common men and most women couldn’t even read or write. We gener…

Being independent doesn't have anything to do with this at all. I respectfully disagree. Women not only had more limited outlets to voice their opinion, they really had little room to do anything about having negative opinions. Men could voice negative opinions, and many did, but like women often had little room to do anything about those opinions. I would say “What’s changed now is women can live independent lives and also give voice to their true opinions “. The second part really doesn’t exis…

No…he was NEVER conventionally good looking, that’s my point, but he was ugly hot to me when he was young. I bet you could smell the testosterone coming from his pores There are certain ugly men like Pete Davidson and Adam Driver who always manage to appeal to women despite unconventional looks. Sean Penn is another one. Always got extremely hot and often more famous women.

I’ve been doxxed… TWICE, so I just reveal what I want and change my name. Merely that I'll only assume a woman is lesbian if she bangs on about how gorgeous all women are and how ugly all men are. And as I have explained, saying someone is gorgeous is not necessarily =/= to “I desire them sexually” for women. I see very young college boys at the pool all the time who I think have absolutely beautiful bodies. They do not make me lust after them. Hell, even saying a man is objectively ugly doesn’t…

I'm not sure if you're on here much Been on and off this subreddit under different names for a decade. I date back to the golden era when LewisCross, Smoogs, Salty Bastard, Smurf and Reluctantly Red held court, back when She’s a Carnival was still Atlas. Same arguments year after year. And no, women are not all lesbians

You are framing things under a man’s sexuality. When men think a woman is hot, they also think “I feel lust” Women can objectively think a woman is hot without feeling sexual arousal. They can also look at a guy who is hot without feeling sexual arousal. This is not because their sexuality is broken, it’s because it is different. Men need only visual stimuli to feel lust, women typically need context. A straight woman may never, under any circumstances, feel lust for another woman, regardless of…
