If a man takes full responsibility for it it's not a life wasted. Then why discuss the qualitative attribute of any activity when all it takes to justify its value is to "take full responsibility"? Call all activities equal in quality as long as I take full responsibility for them (whatever that means) and cease any further discussion. God damn the hamstering in these comments.

Go seek professional help for depression and anxiety first. Satisfy Maslow's hierarchy of needs by order of importance, and health comes first.

You totally need both. The kid that grew up being aware of his intelligence through middle and high school and suddenly eats shit at the university where he encounters a new subject or world gets tried the most. It's also why parents who keep praising their kids on how smarter they are to others are unknowingly put even more pressure on their future performance. If you were unlucky enough to been born with genetics that are shitty it is far more preferable and actionable to hone that little that…

Jack Donovan said on "the way of men" how things like watching football and play video games are basically outlets to manage your masculine energy. I agree with him by a lot because it explains how men are largely attracted to competitive esports and how they force "gamers gender diversity" by counting shit like Candy Crush and walking simulators like "Gone Home" as video games. The video games that require systematic training and practice to get good at them like esports are dominated by men fo…

The actual twist of your post would be that, given that you know the type of people you wrote it for, their issue isn't that they're not writing down their goals or have no accountability buddy. They do, but they misinterpret low effort with actual effort needed. It's like me confusing "walk to the sack of flour" with "carry the sack of flour uphill" and instead just stand there. If they haven't taken action until now odds are they'll never will be. And much like the downvoted comment here will …

The fact that I knew about all that by browsing the top posts on the main sub and OP didn't makes me question the validity of his "I've been swallowing the pill for years" statement.

Giving a fuck about your karma points is an extension of this: You seek constant validation for your ideas and every time you open Reddit and see your score higher you're FeelsGoodMan

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
