Apparently having "edward scissorhands vibes" and "looking like a troubled Victorian boy" makes certain girls go absolutely feral.

Sadly the truth, I feel like I have to "cycle" party phases.

I can vouch for this. 24M, never a big partier or extravert but I do go to karaoke bars regularly. I look like I would be in Weezer. Every time I’ve met people who wanted to fuck (I turned them down) or people I did fuck, it was in a party with lots of drugs around, lots of drinking. The “party whores” you probably are scared of having sex with might be promiscuous but plenty of these girls are also very kind and good people.

Yes it may be self destructive, but man is it fun and effective.

I guess, if you say so :/ my friends (girls included) reassure me the same way but I still carry this guilt and it feels like I’m doing something wrong based on how she communicates with me

Not sure why so many people are disagreeing here. I’ll fess up and say it applies to me to a degree. I was in a relationship for five years where I was a doormat- she was extremely attractive and we were extremely compatible. She lost attraction to me after some major life events and I suspect my weight gain. After the breakup I lost a lot of weight and Im exclusively pursuing fwb situations until I’m in a place in my career/education/emotional state that allows me to open myself up to something…

In my experience rejection anxiety was reinforced early on and nobody in my life did much to help me break free of that. It took [insert typical online male role model] at the ripe age of 24 and drugs/alcohol to break free of approach anxiety.

Probably not every woman, but i can imagine he’s thinking of the small subset of women that are highly attractive, out of his league, and show themselves off enough to captivate him. Wouldn’t be surprised if this persons only real interactions with attractive women are through pornography, deeply skewing his perspective.

When I was in a LTR I had the typical “high n count = automatically bad” attitude. when I stopped being a sperg and actually started making friends with girls (seeing them as people and not objectifying them) who wanted casual sex I stopped caring.

Disturbingly true. I used to be a much healthier "boring" person. Started wearing raggedy bullshit and chainsmoking cigarettes at karaoke bars and weeaboo house parties and now I get a good amount of attention

Okay, well I'm done giving the normie suggestions. here are my fun ones: Do acid, meet god, go crazy. Learn to drive, become an uber driver. Become a gymcel/pick up a combat sport and become addicted to pain Scam people online for money, fly to SA/SEA, fuck hookers Sell drugs Volunteer for war in Ukraine Fuck if I know man. If you're in your mid-30s with nothing to lose, you still have a lot to gain, and a lot of life to live. Stop being a fucking coward. Watch male self improvement YouTubers, t…

Pre-game the bar? In my case I am a naturally goofy and friendly person thats otherwise very hindered by anxiety unless drunk. I wish I could help you change that mindset of yours, but it kinda just happened through trial and error for me. Looksmaxxing will help ur confidence and self-esteem, thats another good thing to do. Lifting and etcetera.

I am 24 years old now, and until 23 I was pretty much a total fucking loser gymcel that had no friends. Literal 4channer coomer with no social skills whatsoever. I have a girlfriend now, and multiple friends. Get drunk at bars, talk to the people who will definitely be willing to. Make mistakes, say weird shit, feel the anxiety. You must progressive overload your social skills, and it'll become much easier. You may be far behind but it's not over. If hobbies baffle you, you probably are distract…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
