It’s a sign of good health, NOT having a morning erection is a sign of Diabetes, heart trouble or other serious issues

You need new friends that match your morals. Been there done that. One or two close friends is much better than a big gaggle of shitty friends ( even if they have fun/ are fun)

And a Private Eye. You need somebody that can legally follow, photograph etc

This is the best case scenario, with a bad lawyer or conservative judge a stay at home dad or husband can get very little

This is my situation. She got the house, all the 6 figures of money the good car, she is required to pay my cell bill and car insurance, so basically I woulda been better off to not get a lawyer and save those fees. Best of luck

It does strike me as odd, I don’t have to speak to the attorney personally , but three have been some major flubs, like they did not let me know court dates until the day after, and once on same day 30 minutes before ( when I live an hour from the court)

Yes, I’ve not spoken with him once since the sales call, they have been to court 2 or 3 times in my behalf, but we have never spoken

I see two kids alone, yea, I guess there’s not much time or energy left

I have no kids. If I had daughters, I dunno how I would approach it. I think I would want them to be happy and self supporting, not have to rely on anybody else. I guess I just don’t know many married people that are “ happy” 51 percent of marriages end in divorce and a bunch of people just become roommates, seemed like a flawed “ norm”

So your saying for 5 years after divorce you have not gone on any dates ?

No no, I respect your opinion

I appreciate your point. I think I am done with “ partners” it was necessary in the 1800s, I don’t think it’s relevant in 2021. If it works for you, I think that’s great. I’m not very interested in societal norms, one of the issues we had, she was very concerned with status quo

I think it’s ; date fuck or friends forever for me. Mix and match maybe, I don’t think I’ll ever cohabitate with another female. I mean in my 40s I see many people change so so much over decades, I don’t really see the need for marriage in a modern society.

Is being in public with another female infidelity? Is sharing a table infidelity? I don’t see what the pictures would prove, unless you were kissing and/or had your hands on her backside

I disagree with this assessment, let’s make a real world analogy. I am fantasizing about the clerk at the grocery store. That’s a fantasy. If I talk to her and we strike up a conversation, that could be flirting, it’s not cheating. The online presence doesn’t change whether it’s flirting or cheating.

I don’t even think chatting on Tinder is an emotional affair, it’s a fantasy, unless gifts were exchanged or something that affected his real life

You gotta stop Using the word cheated so you don’t slip up and say that at the wrong time. Start thinking more Like “ Were not getting any attention at home so started to fantasize about being noticed” nothing illegal or abnormal about fantasizing

Home values is a very simple average of several close similar properties averages into square footage, shouldn’t be much wiggle room there( it’s a realtor calculation not your opinion) car values are pretty easy to look up 20 and 40 Sounds high on both unless they are one year old BMWs. Hers is worth more than yours, but you don’t wanna pay the lawyers another ten to end up winning you 5.

Just stop paying everything , that will get her attention

Getting an.apartment for six months is gonna be a his local rate. It’s gonna be HARDER later when they split assets, why delay the inevitable?

Well if your not going to separate then maybe a sexless marriage is what you’ll end up With

Dude for your own sanity you gotta get out of the house. You can’t be friends with her and get divorced. MAYBE two years form the road you can be “ friendly” but you can’t be friends. A lot of times women get more emotional support and friendship means more to them than sexual intimacy, you giving her some of the friendship is only going to cloud the issue, you gotta create some personal space you both can process this separately

A lot of what women get out of marriage is friendly support. If y’all are truly going separate ways you gotta cut that off 100 percent. You can’t be friends at this point. Maybe 2 years down the road when all assert are split you can be “friendly” you’ll never really be friends. Just accept this. Find some new friends.

You need to go separate ways. Your goal is to survive. Not sure if masturbating over the net is legally cheating, if you can’t prove it went past that. let you lawyer decide how to approach that.

If that was true, you would have the lawyer and her not... take a step back and stop Listening to what she says and look at her actions

Can, they can, if they think one side is not getting equal share

The court job is divide the assets equally, what you each want or think has very little to do with any of it.

You gotta stop thinking in terms of “fair” and who earned what, when you entered a marriage you basically became one joint entity. The judge will not care enough about either of you to take sides, he sees 14 of you every day, his job is to apply the law.

Don’t do it. There’s no reason to get married in 2021, have a long term partnership with separate accounts, if it goes south one of you can just get in the car and leave it’s done in 30 minutes

All debts except the mortgage will be cleared before any money is split is the way I understand it

If you cheated twice during 12 months, doesn’t sound like you had much of a marriage. So just consider yourself singe, which you pretty much did during the marriage, so it shouldn’t be that different.

No. You do not need to talk to her about this, you need your own representation.

In my state you can’t be granted a divorce unless living separate street addresses for 6 months... not living separate just delays the start of the 6 months

Mmm stopping paying the mortgage will Make it bring less at sale. The buyers Real Estate agent will be friends with all the bankers and hear that in gossip, that will just lead to lowball offers.

It’s not muddy, if you acquired it or it grew during the divorce then it belongs to both

You need to try and mentally distance from any notion of “ what you think is fair” try to get the best resolution for everybody and not get screwed.

I just wanna know are these tossed out after one use? If not I gotta go first, lol

The main question is how much assets are there ? If there is less than ten thousand in shared assets ( stuff acquired during the marriage) then the attorneys would likely get more than you two each ended up with. Over that you’d have to research cost in your area as lawyer cost and state laws vary widely.

I am only a week into mine, but at some point he probably needs to stop communication, other than legal or financial matters. Everybody wants to be seen as civil yada yada yada, but pretending to be friends going forward just confuses the issue. Sounds like she is manipulating him to me.

If they have separated 8 months in some ways they are already divorced, it’s just a matter of settling up the paperwork and finances.
/r/Divorce_Men28/02/21 04:42 PM

No you don’t pay both. If you get an apartment and she does not have an income to pay the note , one of you needs to stay with family or get 2 small apartments and sell the house
/r/Divorce_Men26/02/21 01:22 PM

Agreed. Do it when your ready or you will reconsider and stay for another year or two and she will do it on her terms. The older you get the harder it is to restart on the other side.
