You're way tougher than you think you're. Time to hit the gym, meditate daily, and achieve financial highs like never before. It will only get easier from here. You got this bro. Trust me.

On trust: how does that work in case of marriage? I put all the pre-marital assets there. Then what?

Your advice is golden. This can be a biased forum. I need to read both sides and make a final decision. In my case, my GF makes decent income, but I got lucky in life and make way more than her. It would be unfair to ask her or others to match my income. On revocable trust: how does that work in case of marriage? I put all the pre-marital assets there. Then what?

That's must. But there are still so many layers on top. Ex. kids, heart break, threads, courts etc.

She has a career and makes decent income right now. I make way more than her. Can't tell what will happen after the marriage. Financially I'll be screwed if it happens

I can try to see if she agrees with having kids without a marriage

Never heard from anyone this before especially as a man. But such a good option. I know I want kids in my life. I can afford the cost as well. I 'm curious to know how's raising kids been as a single parent? Did you have kids before?

This can be one of the options. I agree. But then life without kids?

Fair point. But it's good to ask people on both sides. The people like here who are burned maybe wiser in giving advice than first timers who never did go through pain.

That's because you had to keep paying alimony and child support in case of divorce?

But in that case I'd be by myself. No kids either. I feel much better when I'm in a relationship. My choices are 1) Live alone myself. I was alone for 2 years after my divorce and hated it. I'm much better in every way when I'm in a relationship and living with someone. 2) It would be very hard to maybe even impossible to find a girl who is <35 and wants to live with you without getting married eventually. If I want to do this, my only choice is find someone <30, live with her for 3-4 years and …

I read that. And that's a huge area of concern for me,

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
