We have to step up as men for the young men in our lives, no matter how they got there.

Use it as an opportunity for yourself. Go see a movie no one wants to see with you, listen to your favorite album turned up too loud. Take a quiet bath with candles. Heck, I like to catch up on cleaning that way i can wake up to a nice clean house for myself. You need to think of it positively instead of dwelling on it negatively.

I met with my lawyer today and have therapy tonight. She doesn't need to know. Therapy usually just turns into 45 min of her talking bad about me and making me feel terrible then saying she doesn't want a divorce.

That's fraud. Make sure whenever they register at the DMV if they have to put how much they paid they put less.

Volunteer? My daughter and help pack food at the food bank every other Monday. They really like constant volunteers.

I know we're in the divorce sub but has your wife talked to anyone about post pardem depression? Women go through crazy hormone changes during and after pregnancy.

Shoot your shot you dummy. Just grab a coffee after work. Don't talk about your divorce/ex or things like that.

You need to call CPS. Don't try to pry anything out of your son because you will make his emotional trauma worse. Don't try to get things he says on video because it will just look like you are scheming. Call CPS.

Id have lots of sex but no more kids. Right now I'm 42 and my youngest will turn 18 when I'm 50. I'm not starting that clock over.

Unfortunately it's a shitty time to buy a house. Interest rates are bad compared to 9 years ago. I'm not sure that's something you can really negotiate on. It might be worth it to sign maybe a 6 month or 1 year lease so your costs are fixed for a while and hope interest rates come down. I'm almost in the same boat, I think I'd be divorced and moved out if shit wasn't so expensive right now.

You say you don't want a divorce but do you want to be married to her? Sounds like you have some past issues as well.

Don't even entertain the idea. Do you have children? Break it off and never contact her again

Let your lawyer advise, but it will start to be a tracking exercise. If she is going to be no-coop operative make sure ALLLLLLLLL communications are with the lawyer and in writing not just verbal agreements.

Sit down with your attorney and tell them your expectations. If they try to manage them down fire them and find a new one.

I dont feel like he is poaching anyone. If he was replying to other people's post maybe but this is just letting it be known there's services there for men.
