You're being too nice. Why do you offer mom and dad gifts ? She is asking you for more because you give out of your own free will. She is not a good person. From now on act like her, ask to split everything, the lice treatments or else and offer "dad's gifts" not joint gifts.

The path to better self esteem is consistently acting *as if* you value yourself, even if you don't right now. You know what you would do if you did give a fuck about yourself.
