When did i say women have never been in positions of power ever? I’m saying that the people in influential positions of power have been men for the large majority of history and even today, have been men. Even a seemingly innocuous show like Peppa Pig portrays the father as an idiot, and this has an effect on children subconsciously.Cassandra? What is that from? And marge might not be strict but she’s the one who has to take care of the cooking, cleaning, kids, and homer. At the end of the day she always has to forgive him and love him. Even if she’s never or rarely “cast as strict” in the series i’m talking more largely about family tropes in us media like the op was.
