3	Tried to put what I've learned to work and blew it. Yeah we're like most people in that you can't rationalise away your anxiety. Same thing as someone that's afraid of flying or spiders etc. It doesn't work like that. What helps me is what is suggested in "Models": think of it as exposure therapy for your anxiety. Instead of jumping in the deep end right away (which clearly triggers too much anxiety) start off with tasks that elicit a little anxiety only, and do them over and over until they don't any more.
