3	What should I do? If you’re not looking to lie to anyone then I’d say tell her the truth and go on the date with the waitress but frame your answer to her question differently. The way you’ve worded it makes it sound like the girl you’re currently seeing is just rejecting you which isn’t fully the case. Instead I’d say something that makes it sound like the fact it hasn’t progressed is of equal choice or your decision, like “we went on a few more dates but I don’t know if it’s really going anywhere”.
