What do you think about these "Are we dating the same guy" groups?Dude you took the words right out of my mouth. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/12/22 03:16 PM
Women tell men to stick to their league, but women are attracted to the type of men - those out of their leagueLol thank you for stating your preference. I agree. But we’re talking about what the average guy is willing to put up with, not where you or I personally are able to draw the line. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/22 08:40 PM

Women tell men to stick to their league, but women are attracted to the type of men - those out of their leagueIt’s the man’s job to provide quality sex. The woman is the recipient of good sex. That’s the way it is. There is no floor to how little a woman can provide in bed, most men will be satisfied. Whereas it seems the majority of men can’t provide a sufficient experience to have her coming back. Pun intended. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/22 06:51 PM
Women's standards in men aren't getting any higher (except for the physical one)Thats the truth. All these guys pretending to like a dark triad guy because they are the ones that get laid. Cis sexuality is one of the more embarrassing things about humanity | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/08/22 11:19 PM
Having options as a man makes you more attractive to woman.I think not necessarily. From my experience female attraction can be fickle and not based in reality (in this case the proof of the mans competence). So then, if women think that other women’s attraction proves this mans “competence” then they become more attracted themselves, regardless of any true value in the man. I have seen it with myself even, I am not a particularly above average guy in any way, but I have seen how options and abundance has made me seem wayyy more desirable for a while (u… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/22 01:41 PM

Daily Community Chat MegathreadNot disagreeing but I found life in some other countries much more comfortable than US. TBF it was only for a year at a time, and places like Korea, Portugal. But still the idea that you have to either live in US or a bunker is not true and does not mean we can’t criticize the US. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/22 09:58 PM
Daily Community Chat MegathreadSo true. I’ve seen a lot of trends on ppd from men and women but this is one I find the most hilarious. It’s such a skilled way to derail the convo. Like I play dumb all the time in life to avoid so many things and conversations. But this is like subconscious on their part I swear. As far as I’m concerned it’s a “bad faith” argument (if I’m using that correctly) I think responding like you’re offended and giving anecdotal evidence on PPD has to be considered intentional at this point whether it … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/22 09:52 PM
Men underestimate the value a female friend could provide. My girl friends are also way flakier than the guys it is not even close. Just this past weekend my friend tried to make plans for just "later that day". I am used to it and I know that means "whenever is convenient for me". Sometimes I even think it is like "just in case I don't find something better to do instead." It's all good but I just don't take plans made by my girl friends seriously. Rollerblading Gardening Fermenting everything (I can pickle that) Cooking Then there’s just assorted sports and activities: Paddle boarding, soccer, hockey, pickle ball, long boarding, recently mushroom hunting. Games: Magic the gathering, DnD. Not sure if this counts as a hobby. Then of course PPD | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/22 11:55 PM

How many of you who think women should settle more often, have actually expereinced a relationship without attraction or low attraction?Being alone is great... If it is by choice. Aka you are not an incel, just a person who realizes they are happier alone (than in a passionless relationship etc etc) More and more women will be alone by choice and that is going to be a very good thing for them. Some men will be alone by choice as well. That will be good for them But also a large amount of men will be alone--but it will be because few women desire them. They will continue to be upset about this and they will continue to be online … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/03/22 09:20 PM
You should pay for what you order when going on a first dateI have literally never run into this problem of having to buy dinner on a first date like we talk so much about. I have never really had to go on a dinner date either. I'm not sure where y'all live but every girl I've met has been up for meeting over drinks, or coffee, or a walk. I get that FDS teaches girls to demand dinner and that the man pays and that is all fine if that works for you. I am not that interested in being stuck with a random girl from the internet through a whole dinner and I w… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/03/22 09:45 PM
Discussion: what are the dating dynamics in your social circle?Oh I forgot to mention that I'm in an LTR. Well over 1 year which is the longest I've ever done. New record! Woot! | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/03/22 10:03 PM
Discussion: what are the dating dynamics in your social circle? This is really interesting and I agree with what you have said in your second set of bullet points about what you are seeing from your kids and their friend groups. I'm 31 so I'm barely in that same category but I'm seeing the same thing. The main thing that sticks out to me is that so few of us are looking for marriage at the moment even into our 30s. Some older people I've talked to have expressed that they wish they didn't feel rushed to get married in their 20's. And when I ask why the get m… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/03/22 09:52 PM

Bachelors degree - work in Food Manufacturing Married or LTR friends: Mostly friends of friends. Mostly the people who are my "girlfriends girl friends" or like, acquaintances. I think these people are often wayy more "basic" and want to be married much more badly than the others but anyway. Single Female Friends: Many. Mostly women who prefer to be single. | 2 | Discussion: what are the dating dynamics in your social circle?First off: your situation seems similar enough to mine. I would say most of us are not married, or in quite as serious LTRs but still very similar. Also I think that is by choice for my guy friends. Idk maybe not so much for my girl friends most of them want LTRs and are trying much harder to find those. Ok So: I have a story about my friend group that I might have shared here before but here we go: I have always had mixed friend groups. | 1 | Introverts are more likely to be involuntarily single. Thus confirming that you have to 'put yourself out there' in order to meet people and develop interactions that turn into relationships. This is a hard truth for manybut the point wasn't to give you a quick answer but to show you where you could go to learn more. L-Theanine was an example but you have to put in the work yourself to figure out what might work for you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/03/22 09:31 PM |
Introverts are more likely to be involuntarily single. Thus confirming that you have to 'put yourself out there' in order to meet people and develop interactions that turn into relationships. | 8 | Introverts are more likely to be involuntarily single. Thus confirming that you have to 'put yourself out there' in order to meet people and develop interactions that turn into relationships. This is a hard truth for manySo I think there are people out there who are trying to find a "pill" (in their own way). If you haven't, check out places like https://www.reddit.com/r/Nootropics/ It is a silly subreddit, and most things there are anecdotal. Heck I'm not even sure how active it is anymore. But I'd say almost 50% of the posts are from people trying to overcome social anxiety. And a lot of them find some things that work for them. But be careful some things can be dangerous and most things need to be "cycled" as… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/03/22 08:13 PM
The "Alpha/Beta/etc." paradigm is utter BSI agree. The person in mind when talking about alpha males is a VERY attractive man. Not solely based on looks. Usually based on confidence and charisma, sense of humor etc (also looks and height are good enough not to be a deterring factor). Usually the issue is that not all girls can be with this one alpha man. But when they are young they will all try to be. Then the feeling of settling. Yadda yadda the point of half the complaints on this sub. I don't even feel that strongly about this stuff… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/03/22 01:02 AM
Dual Mating Strategy: Why men need to be aware of TRP it's teachings even if they don't agree with it.Okay. That's cool. I'm almost certain there's a large percentage of men who would love that arrangement. Good luck! | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/03/22 08:24 PM
There is not a shortage of single men who have their life in orderI could see this. There are tons of things that I do not share with my girlfriend because I've learned the hard way it's better to seem "stoic" than to seem "sissy". That being said I would gladly share my feelings about anything if she asks. It's a weird line to tow (toe?) but it is not impossible | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/03/22 07:58 PM
Dual Mating Strategy: Why men need to be aware of TRP it's teachings even if they don't agree with it.I’m fine with this too. Dealing with someone’s “angy” is awful, and if you can avoid that then I think you’re doing the right thing for you. I am confused though you said girlfriend and then you sai “he” and I’m just a lil confused sorry | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/03/22 07:53 PM
Dual Mating Strategy: Why men need to be aware of TRP it's teachings even if they don't agree with it.Ya I get to live a better life because I can know this to be a true phenomenon and simultaneously not hate women because of it. As long as guys choose to understand this and not automatically hate women its a great thing to be aware of. Conversely... As long as girls are able to be aware that many men only want them for sex... as long as the dont automatically hate all men..... its a great thing to be aware of. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/03/22 12:05 AM
Dual Mating Strategy: Why men need to be aware of TRP it's teachings even if they don't agree with it.One thing I think is funny is how many girls reveal this in their own weird way on spaces like FDS. They make it so clear that they only want a man to bankroll their life. Its always like: (Uhh pretend there are clap emojis in this I do not know how to make them.) IF. YOU. WILL. NOT. PAY. FOR MY LIFESTYLE THEN I DO NOT NEED YOU IN MY LIFE. LOL MEN ARE SUCH LOSERS AMIRITE QUEENS? but its like: ya man, you should not be dating anyone if you do not want to. | 10 | Dual Mating Strategy: Why men need to be aware of TRP it's teachings even if they don't agree with it.It's almost like that thing that happens when you're arguing with someone, and they finally get exasperated and go: "FINE! Is that really want you want me to say!? That I wish I could have babies with the guy who (I perceive to be) Chad and I want your money to bankroll the thing???? ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!?" And for me its kind of like "Yes I am happier now that you said that." | 31 | Dual Mating Strategy: Why men need to be aware of TRP it's teachings even if they don't agree with it.Same. I am 31 but I am seeing the same thing. I sort of feel like "This is just the way it is right now" and I am not that upset about it. Girls will continue doing this and it is alll fine. I mostly just resent how many people seem to have 0 self reflection and can't actually say to themselves "Huh, I guess that is exactly what I did. I really did use to date terrible men and now I'm settling for this guy with stability. It is okay that I did that but it is also true" It apparently is easier to… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/02/22 10:49 PM

I've been pointing out to our group that he has like this internal clock, and if we're hanging out and he hasn't been the center of attention for as little as an hour, he'll find something to become the victim about. | 6 | FDS and TRP were born and exist due to ugly people who's standards are too highI have seen too many friends date truly awful people and it is very painful to watch the whole thing play out. I can say anecdotally it's usually my girl friends that date bad guys but it could go either way. quick story: I have 2 very good friends. I've been friends with the guy since for 20 years, and the girl for 3. They started dating. He is an emotional abuser. We advised her not date him and "she could do wayyy better than him" (We being mostly me and her very good girl friend) A year and … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/02/22 05:57 PM |

How many dudes in here are actually in a relationship? In a relationship for over a year now. Yes in the very basic description of Red Pill. "Take the red pill and recognize that female sexuality is not the way you think it is (and adjust accordingly)" Probably "No" if you add in the crazy things they say that go beyond that. FWIW I think that TRP and FDS are necessary at their core. Everyone should be more cautious and aware of "stereotypical" sexuality of the opposite sex. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/02/22 05:40 PM
FDS and TRP were born and exist due to ugly people who's standards are too highWell put. I don't think that was the initial intention of FDS. It looks like "femcels" have driven down the quality of the posts there and made it low effort rants. Not unlike Incels and TRP spaces. But you make a great point that the only strategy focused on at FDS is avoiding "LVM" which now looks like a moving goal post depending on any posters personal history. I do still think that a space like FDS should exist for women, and I hope there is one that is not quite as cynical, and I just have… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/02/22 05:10 PM

Average men wanting chad’s lifestyle are akin to middle class people wanting a billionaire lifestyleIt did change based on the time in my life. Like college was a time where everything I had was a fling (no more than maybe 2 month "flings" before one or both of us moved on). But no, I would say that everything other than college was relationships, and with girls within my attraction range (SMV, looksmatch whatever). Im going to use number scale to describe SMV. High School I was in a relationship for 1.5 years. Lets say I was a 7 and she was a 7. After college I was in a relationship for alm… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/02/22 08:58 PM
Average men wanting chad’s lifestyle are akin to middle class people wanting a billionaire lifestyleThis is my experience. I read so many things on this subreddit and think "Yeah that makes sense to me". But when I apply it to my life it does not compare. Every average guy I know is having very average sexual experiences. Like me: I'm a pretty average guy and I would way I have a "similarly looksmatched" partner. Most of my friends are average guys, and with similar, or arguably higher SMV partners. Even my more Chadlike friends are with very looksmatched but partners. | 2 | The amount of effort men put into their female friendships is SEVERELY DISPROPORTIONATE to the amount of effort females put into their male friendshipsHalf my friends are women. Our friendship is not that different to my friendship with my guy friends. Last week I went bowling with my 2 lady friends. One of them payed for all of us to bowl (Not me). | 2 | Study shows men rate feeling desired by their partners higher than what is appreciatedI know what you mean Eleanor Abernathy, PhD. I work with 90% Mexicans (in California) and they are about evenly split between men and women. They are very traditional. The men try to be very very masculine. All of the time. I love the guys I work with and I feel bad for them that the pressure to be masculine and emotionless is so prevalent. I could see how this would affect your view from a young age about men. Thank you for sharing your experience! | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/08/21 07:48 PM
Why are single women happier than married women? If so, why do women even bother with men?Right. The more I invest in myself the higher my standards of happiness are. As my standards of happiness get higher it takes someone similar and of "high value" to fit into my life and become someone I would marry. The more I learn about myself the more likely I will be unmarried forever (Im a guy tho) From what I've read this is the core tenet of Female Dating Strategy. Focus on yourself and vet guys for a longer period of time to prove they are HVM. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/07/21 05:43 PM
Crux of young men’s anger towards dating market and women comes from different prices of admissions for sex for different men and the disinformation women put out about what they are attracted to.I am surprised when I am "arousing" to women because I truly have no idea what I'm doing and never will and women are confusing. I've lived long enough to realize that often it's their own imagination that gets aroused and I happen to just be not saying anything to break their fantasy. I would really really struggle doing all of those things simultaneously with any amount of passion at all. Sounds like just "checking boxes" to sound impressive or like you said: a resume. In any case good luck to you Kathleen! | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/07/21 09:33 PM
Q4All: How are we supposed to take dates seriously if they're sleeping around? For sure I agree. I've never dated someone who was in "Group A" (to my knowledge). And if I knew they were it would be a pretty bad move to knowingly date them. It's deceptive and would only be hurtful to them/both of us. Also an interesting thing to now think about--I'd say half of my guy friends would say they are firmly in "Group A" whereas much less of my gal friends would say they are in "Group A". Maybe a quarter of the gals. Which makes sense to me. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/07/21 08:59 PM
Long-term and short-term relationships are initially identical. They diverge after a few weeks or months, especially after sex. We just need to adjust to suit each other and figure out what the other like over the course of the rest of our lives. I am not in a similar boat at all and cannot weigh in from personal experience. But just from the level of self awareness I think you're gonna be fine! Good Luck to you! | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/07/21 07:25 PM
Q4All: How are we supposed to take dates seriously if they're sleeping around? So, I'd say Group A is easy to find if you make it a priority. I am not in group A myself, but I agree with what you're saying. Congrats on your success story Cedo | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/07/21 04:50 PM
Q4All: How are we supposed to take dates seriously if they're sleeping around?I want to say I am very happy to be in group C. I think the lifestyle fits my bigger ideologies about life. I would not take dating myself seriously. I try to make that clear with partners. I think only one person should take dating me that seriously, and they are the person that I marry. I dont know who that is yet or if they exist. But once we commit to each other and decide to have a family together then yes lets take it seriously. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/07/21 04:47 PM

Study: Two thirds of romantic relationships start out as friends. 42% start as FWBs.haha what's bubblewrapping in this context? "Failing together at dancing". Sounds fun but also unavoidable with moves like these. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/07/21 10:07 PM
Study: Two thirds of romantic relationships start out as friends. 42% start as FWBs.Haha thank god my female friends are not constantly telling me I'm not good enough to date. That would not be a fun time. Honestly that's not why we get together. It is not to constantly rate each other as a partner. Usually we just do karaoke, or rollerblade, or go to the beach. Like friends ya know but from the opposite sex. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/07/21 10:03 PM

Study: Two thirds of romantic relationships start out as friends. 42% start as FWBs.But if you guys are friends then someone wants more but is rejected then they are respecting themselves by distancing from a person who doesn’t value them. Good point. I have one friend that comes to mind. I don't think of friendship as "unrequited love". But it is more of a non-romantic and non-sexual love. And I agree that if someone wants those things and the other doesn't then they are respecting themselves by distancing themselves. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/07/21 09:56 PM
Men are less interested in relationships due to changing gender rolesI definitely have some friends that I consider great people with how they treat me. Then I see some of the ways they treat their romantic/sexual interests (of the opposite sex.) And it is crappy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/07/21 09:46 PM
Men are less interested in relationships due to changing gender rolesGood question. No I think each relationship ending had more to do with being young and both being independent. Though I do think I may have been the one who was more ready to be single. One relationship ended when we moved to different colleges. Then the other three ended when I would move to a different country. You could say I wanted my independence--but I also think I'd date most of them again under the right circumstances. Back then I just wanted to keep experiencing new countries and cultur… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/07/21 09:44 PM
How do nonbinary people fit into the general dating lore?I imagine people that are nonbinary have many conversations with themselves about what they think they want out of a partner. I bet they are extremely communicative out of necessity. It is probably a blessing and a curse to be nonbinary because you get to define a lot for yourself and not try to stick to traditions based on the sex you were born with. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/21 10:28 PM
Study: Two thirds of romantic relationships start out as friends. 42% start as FWBs.true gp. I imagine dance classes and maybe improv classes would be a great way to meet people | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/21 10:24 PM
Study: Two thirds of romantic relationships start out as friends. 42% start as FWBs.Opposite genders can be friends. It is not as easy as having friends from the same gender. I have had many friends that are girls, and I will continue to have friends that are girls--even if I get married, have kids, etc. I'd say of my closest friends: about 8 are guys and 5 are girls. What I've noticed is that there is often an underlying tension--with every girl I've ever been friends with--one that doesnt exist with my dude friends. There is always a tension of mild romanticism and sexual att… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/21 10:01 PM
Study: Two thirds of romantic relationships start out as friends. 42% start as FWBs.Same or close enough. I am a guy and have been out of college for several years now. But almost everyone I know, including myself, has started their romantic relationships first as friendships. I can't imagine how much more difficult it would be to try to meet a compatible partner solely through OLD or any other means than through their close social circles. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/21 09:50 PM
Men are less interested in relationships due to changing gender rolesNice! Quit dating low quality women and you might find the same. Yeah it seems that so many people in this subreddit have horrible perception of if someone is a "High Value Man" or "High Quality Woman". So many opinions seem to be from the lense of a person that has only had really crappy partners | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/21 09:36 PM
Men are less interested in relationships due to changing gender rolesMy experience is very similar but from a guys perspective: I've had about 4 long(ish) term relationships and in each of them the she initiated the relationship (or at least made it very very clear that I should initiate which I think also counts.) Similarly I'd say they have been highly independent girls where I was a welcome addition to their lives and not a focal point (I liked that). Also similarly, girls who always offer to split on a first date. Sometimes I think most commenters on PPD have… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/21 09:23 PM
The saying goes “they come back when you least expect it” why is that?I'm a guy but I have experienced this as well. Funniest story I think is that I have an ex from high school (first girlfriend). She seems to message me out of the blue the very moment I get a new girlfriend. I could be living in another state or across the world and she still seems to have perfect timing. In truth I think it's kind of like the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon--where it just seems like she has a sixth sense of when I've recently started a new relationship. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/07/21 10:14 PM
"Do communists have better sex?"Very interesting. Thank you for sharing your experience. Did we have better sex lives than Westerners? I don't know, but we surely had much more sex than teenagers seem to be having these days. I am not sure if "more" sex directly leads to "better" sex. But if it lowered the intensity of hypergamy then a lot of the guys would consider their sex life "better" (which is good enough for me) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/07/21 09:53 PM
When it comes to who pays for dates, many women say that the gender wage gap justifies the expectation that men pay for dates. However, amongst the demographic that is dating (i.e., single people), single women outearn single men. Therefore, by their own logic, women should pay for dates.Makes sense to me. Yet I still offer to pay for the first date. Even if I know she makes more than me--which happens often enough. I've noticed for me it's an important moment to see how the girl reacts. Generally, if they seem entitled to it and aren't at least expressing appreciation, then I get the feeling it wouldn't work in the long run. Alternatively, I more often try to meet someone from OLD over drinks. I offer to pay for the first round. Usually if a girl hints she wants another round b… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/07/21 09:21 PM
