Divorce after 22 years. You will, too. The only thing that will heal you is time. I wanted a better answer than that but there isn't one. I'm finishing my masters degree in 5 weeks and keeping busy helped. But there will be a lot of times that you will sit and cry and it feels overwhelming but it will pass. Trust me. Strengthen your friendships with your friends because they will make sure you're okay. My friends can read me like a book and always take care of me when they need to. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/12/22 12:52 AM
Divorce after 22 years.I filed just before our 26th anniversary. She was cheating on me for years. But 18 months later I'm a different person and you will be, too. I have happiness and freedom and I get to find love again. I was lonelier with her then I am now if that makes sense. Focus on growing as a person and finding what makes you happy. We're all here for you if you need us. Stay strong. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/12/22 12:43 AM
I got served today.Mine wouldn't stop cheating. I gave her too many chances before I filed. It's heartbreaking I know. And it's fucked up. You can be sad and broken. Everyone heals in a different way. I still love my STBX and always will but I know she isn't good for me. The next year will be tough but you'll be tougher. You need to do what you need to do. Sometimes I just sit quiet and feel the pain and it eventually goes away. Time will heal you I promise. My only advice is to avoid alcohol because it'll fuck up… | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/12/22 01:44 AM
I got served today. You feel whatever you need to boss. It'll be more than one day but most of the men here support you and have good advice. My final court date is in two weeks and I'm a different man now. Focus on you now and feel what you need to brother. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/12/22 01:35 AM
Hang on because it does get betterThe ups and downs of the last couple years started to even out recently. Work on yourself and be the bomb. I let the emotions just wash over me and just try to let them leave on their own. Forgiving her let me truly be free. You'll get there, too. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/06/22 01:32 PM
